Jaren Jackson Jr. traded to the Jazz

This last part sounds delusional to me.

Also... best of 3 picks has much higher upside than just a mediocre pick. Also... are we giving up this year's pick? If so... it's essentially giving up 1 good pick, 1 mediocre pick, 1 mystery box pick and one potential top 5-6 pick in a phenomenal draft.
Why would the Jazz give up the pick this year? Why would JJJ be against sitting when he has a long term contract.

I guarantee the Jazz haven't tanked this much to just give it up for the last 39 games

As of February 3, 2026, Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. is managing a quad injury that caused him to miss a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on January 31, but he was considered active and available for the following matchup on February 2, 2026. He has mostly stayed healthy during the 2025-26 season.
He is now OUT to continue management of the injury on advice from the Jazz medical staff.

The medical review will reveal a very sore knee and back. Too sore to play

This is what makes or breaks this pick for me. If we don't tank we essentially gave up 4 first rounders. This year being a pick that would land us a top 8 pick.

If we tank A+
If not C-
Does anyone think the Jazz brass haven't considered this? We are unequivocally going to intentionally lose a lot of games the rest of this year.

Nurk getting traded and we'll be starting Flip at C most nights. Guaranteed Ls.
