Can I just say that I'm sick and tired of the press [aka ESPN] calling out the Jazz for tanking?

Not sure why it bothers a lot of national media guys so much that the Jazz are playing Lauri and JJJ for 3 quarters and then sitting them in the 4th. They act like that is so much worse than just not playing them at all. I don't get it.
 
Until Adam silver actually takes action it's all just silly noise. But even then I don't see anything crazier than just a fine.

If he truly wants to change the rules it's gonna be geared towards all teams and probably takes place after this season.
 
Plus I can literally list out 7 other teams that are doing the same thing. Grizzlies is doing this right now as we speak. Keeping more established players like Jerome, Pippen and KCP on the bench to close the game with Small(?) and Mashack(?) in a super close game against GSW so they can squeeze into the lottery. And who knows if Morant's gonna received the same "Trae and AD" treatment.
 
Just ignore the noise. Or as Hardy would put it, "trust the filter".

Its an interesting dilemma since whether we lose or keep the pick its "rich get richer" type of problem for the NBA. Fans dont want OKC to get 9th or 10th pick, but they dont want us getting a top 8 pick either.

Ironically, the poster that cannot stop crying is right here. The crying on twitter only adds fuel to the fire. If you are in a national media member's replies complaining about this, ask yourself if that engagement is going to accomplish.
 
Why would anyone spend a second on Elon Musk's racist, child molesting ********?

Especially to the point of creating extra engagement by reading replies. Which they know would absolutely enrage them. Super weird.
 
if a boxer throws a game, he's villainized for it and maybe jail. if an nba team throws a game it's not only allowed but some even call it good tactics. i don't know if i even like the nba anymore.

Yeah at least Zach Lowe on his podcast, though he started with Utah, proceeded to call out every single tanking team for doing tanking things. I'd like someone to tell Danny Green, Isn't what the Jazz are doing by playing their starts better than the teams that just sit them out? for the fans it is much better to play the stars in the first 3 quarters. and prioritize development in the 4th quarter in a season where we ain't doing anything. Also, if Danny Green was a GM that MFer would totally tank to keep his pick so he can spare me the superficial outrage
 
We deserve all the flack we are taking. The NBA has a serious problem that has been getting worse for years and right now we are the poster child. I have no problem with anything Danny Green said. The fact that a few other teams should be included is beside the point. Teams that tank with a terrible roster are more difficult to criticize. The Jazz have been stuck in the middle from a roster standpoint for 4 years.
