Fire kevin o' connor !!!!

BR is an idiot, and a bit unstable if you ask me he is the kind of guy that seeks attention where ever he can get it. Everything that spews out of his mouth is garbage. It's time to stop responding to this crap hole!

OK, now I need you to count to 10 for me. nice slow, steady breaths. Listen to the quiet, sooting sound of my voice. 1....2....focus on my voice....3....4.....5...

Feel better?

Hey this thread was inevitable. I just figured i would be the one to throw it out there. Im happy to do it. Because i genuinely think he is a terrible GM. Everyone is so happy that he has made us competitive. Well Im not. I want to win some championships. I dont want to be average. Id rather be at the bottom than the middle. At least at the bottom we have a chance to snag a guy like durant, wade, or lebron.

Players win games. Not GM's

You are a tard.

It' s time

It's time for this thread, and it's time for Kevin O Connor's head.

I am confident that this incompetent fool will not be able or willing to make a much needed trade for this team before the trade deadline. He has put us in a spot where we cant win a championship, nor can we rebuild properly.

Seriously! What kind of GM creates a team where a bunch of high draft picks are buried on the bench behind a bunch a bunch of over paid going no where average nobody's. Ill tell you what kind of GM . The GM that trades away your franchise player, when every other GM in the league is clamoring to get guys like that. If O'Connor would have made a move years ago with Boozer or Okur when they had high value then maybe Deron wouldnt have grown disgruntled. But No, instead he is content with staying put and not taking any risks.

And then there are moves like the Al Jefferson trade. We essentially gave up 3 first rounders for a guy who is over paid and is a offensive killing ball hog. Now we cant give the guy away. And then there is the signing of Raja Bell and passing on a Wes Mathews at a bargain. That one says it all.
There are plenty more examples of bone headed moves. Ill let the rest of you throw them out there. The point is that this guy sucks. And has no clue what he is doing. And he gets far more support from the fan base than he deserves.

I pray for the good of the team that I am wrong and he pulls a great trade out of his *** soon. But I dont believe its going to happen. Im seriously worried we are putting a sour taste in the mouths of our young guys. And that we are just going to see a repeat of the Deron Williams Sogga, where a guy like Derrick Favors gets annoyed with the way the team is ran and ends up wanting an early exit from the team too. I dont blame Ty Corbin because he is in a tuff spot and is doing what he can.

Im tired of this clown Kevin O Connor not recognizing where this franchise is at right now. Which is rebuilding mode, not championship chasing mode. He wasting our opportunity to stack draft picks and get valuable experience for our young guys.

So lets start chanting at the games and holding up our signs now ,that we need to Fire Kevin O Connor, before its too late. Before he screws up this go around.

It's like you swinged at a underhand pitched softball, missed completely, and knocked yourself out. Yes, this post is that bad.

It's probably been mentioned but KOC is considered one of the top GM's for what he has done in Utah.

Did he missed on some draft picks - Yes - but there isn't another GM that hasn't
Did he keep us competitive after the Stockton/Malone years - Yes we went to the WCF
Is he in the process of rebuilding on the fly right now - Yes - Lets give him time for players to develop.

Blues mentioned getting a Durant, LBJ, Kobe.... those players come around once every 5 years if that. And to top it off OKC SUCKED for years with him drafted. It wasn't until other players were put around him (Westbrook, Harden, Serge) that they became good.

It's a joke when people call for KOC's head right now. I'm sure he WOULD trade Millsap or Jefferson IF the right deal came around but if we all know it, so do other GM's, and those GM's won't exactally give away much when someone knows that you are trying to move them for whatever reason.

In Blues defense.. of course we want to see the young guys PLAY and develop. I think we ALL want that BUT I've heard numbers that even 2 home games in the playoffs is a few Million. That few Million is what makes the team profitable and stay in Salt Lake.

The Next 8 games out of the block will steer us into Playing more of the Young Players. Between the Miami/Dallas back to back and the 5 game road trip that starts in Dallas we will be on the outside big time, looking in, and I think that is when something goes down.

You should try medication. I bet it would help with that homicidal twitch you have going on.

I am confident that this incompetent fool will not be able or willing to make a much needed trade for this team before the trade deadline. He has put us in a spot where we cant win a championship, nor can we rebuild properly. We have 16.5M committed for the summer of 2013 https://www.hoopsworld.com/utah-jazz-team-salary

Seriously! What kind of GM creates a team where a bunch of high draft picks are buried on the bench behind a bunch a bunch of over paid going no where average nobody's. These kids are 21, 20, 20, & 19 w/ a combined 6 years of collegiate experience. If KOC didn't make a move to acquire All-Star talent, DWill would've walked & they could've been stuck w/ poor contracts via S&T (assets to trade then were: Al, Paul, Gordon, Burks pick) thus KOC dictated the fate of the franchise not DWill.

And then there are moves like the Al Jefferson trade. We essentially gave up 3 first rounders for a guy who is over paid and is a offensive killing ball hog. Al Jefferson > Carlos Boozer (outside of skills but in durability & financial commitment) Now we cant give the guy away. And then there is the signing of Raja Bell and passing on a Wes Mathews at a bargain. That one says it all. Many GMs went shaking their head after learning Matthews' contract, who is now a 6th man. Raja/Howard/Burks > Matthews in the long-haul, plus we teams need veterans or else we'd be like SAC or WAS!

I pray for the good of the team that I am wrong and he pulls a great trade out of his *** soon. But I dont believe its going to happen. Im seriously worried we are putting a sour taste in the mouths of our young guys. I believe the staff trying to win games, while sacrificing their *ticks* to instill a winning culture/attitude (again, see SAC/WAS). The only guy who deserves more minutes is Burks because he has shown no fear w/ his aggressive play & they did basically dump Memo for the opportunity to play Kanter/Favors more!

He wasting our opportunity to stack draft picks and get valuable experience for our young guys.

So lets start chanting at the games and holding up our signs now ,that we need to Fire Kevin O Connor, before its too late. Before he screws up this go around. Can we fire you from this board!?!

Instead of saying "Please find a new team to follow/troll..." & will just note that most analysts had us finishing last in the conference (8 games better than NO, 5 games above SAC, & 1 game from the 8th seed)!

All of your excuses for him are lame.

You sound like this....

Oh look how average he has made us, how wonderful.....oh look how well he can trade away a top ten player, thats so great.....oh I love him so much..mwaaa mmmmwaaa kiss kiss kiss.. blah blah blah. We havent won anything with him.

Get off his jock.. Grow a sack

I know you're not referring to my post cause you contradict yourself TWICE (see below)!!

My whole point is that KOC is trying to blow his load too fast with this whole win now approach. We arent ready to win now. As we can all see. We would be better served to just dump some of these guys and go into the tank a few years and draft in the high lottery to help with the rebuild. Rather than drafting in the middle for the next five years. And taking the the chance we dont add anything of value to our young core.

Get off this board & go root for OKC!!!

This thread was clearly started by somebody who has never experienced the displeasure of following the majority of the league's other teams.

With the exception of LA, Miami, Chicago and Boston - who have built in advantages - the Jazz are in a rarified class along with San Antonio and OKC. What KOC has done is nothing short of amazing.

You guys... I grew up in Utah. I know it's a good place to be. But to the rest of the country, particularly those who aren't white, it's widely regarded as one of the sh*ttiest places in America. The reddest of red states where polygamy runs wild but you can't buy alcohol - and some good skiing. Utah is like the anti- New York City, it has all the cards stacked against it. Nobody wants to be there.

Despite all of that, KOC fields winning squads. And when he's not, he goes directly into strong rebuilding mode (as we see this season). There is no in-between, no constant stream of low-level mediocrity (see Warriors, Bucks, Hawks, etc...) and it's awesome.

Best GM in the league, IMO.

I have lived in the state of California, Utah, Washington, Colorado, Tennessee and Mississippi and I can pretty much confirm that Utah has a terrible reputation based off of rumors and lies. They really do see Utah as nothing but religious zealots who ban alcohol and marry numerous women that they they keep at home in the kitchen, laundry room and on their backs in bed.

The only good things I have ever heard about Utah from people in other states is Zion national park and the skiing. It is pretty funny when they used to check me for horns.

What the hell are you talking about chump? How have I contradicted myself? My position is to trade away some of these starters for draft picks or for nothing to make room for the young guys so they can play. Knowing that we will be in the lottery for a few years and we can add more top talent.
