Josh Howard out for season!!

Man he looked bummed in his bit before the game but insisted he'd be right back. If we make the postseason he could make a difference.
 
I am very sorry to hear this. While I admit to being annoyed at how much playing time Howard received over some of the young players (and particularly given that I didn't expect Howard to be on the team next year in any case), I certainly never blamed Howard for this. All he wanted was a chance to play, and although the outcome wasn't always great, I don't think anyone can say that he didn't give it his all. Plus by all accounts he is a model team member. (Unlike Bell who, along with being a piece of ****e, is a whiny cry baby distraction.)

I may be the only one to think this, but I actually like the combination of Miles and Hayward on the floor. I will look forward to these two playing more together.

I know it doesn't sound good to wish harm on anyone, but now if only Bell can respond in kind and get a season ending injury, then balance will be restored to the world. (Sorry, but I really, really dislike Bell.)

DavidBenoit nice comment on reading that Howard was injured.

There were other insensitive remarks that could be interpreted as being happy that Howard or other Jazz players were hurt.

Sorry cowhide but NONE of those post you quoted said that they are happy that howard got hurt, so apparently you cant read.

"rather it was raja" .... that person never said they were happy that howard got hurt.
"There is a god".... Ya you could take it to mean that they are happy howard got hurt, or that they are happy to see more burks. Still never said they are happy howard is hurt.
"niiiiiicccceee"..... That comment probably just means that he is happy to see burks.... again never said happy that howard is hurt.

They are clearly wishing it on other players and are showing thanks that it happened. Classless.

You are mis-understanding.

See they are saying that IF THEY HAD TO CHOOSE someone to get injured then it would be bell or miles.

Kind of like if you had to choose between something bad happening to someone in your family or a neighbor, then you would probably choose the bad thing to happen to your neighbor. Nothing wrong with that.

Im just going off of what the posts ACTUALLY say, instead of assuming what the posters meant or putting words in thier mouths.

But whatever floats your boat i guess. some people just like to see negativity and then attack those that they believe to be wrong.

Get your head out of the sand. It has nothing to do with wanting to see negativity. It has to do with people have been in favor and wishing for people getting injured on here long before Howards knee problem. then they come out with this crap.

I'm glad Howard's injury is finally opening doors for other guys that Corbin refused to open. Sorry, I feel no obligation to join the "faux-classy" crowd (requirement: must self-validate by labeling someone as "class act" or "classless" at least 10x per day) and wear black for a week as we mourn this "loss". Injuries are part of the game.

I missed the first half yesterday. Did the ESA observe a moment of silence? A half-time tribute with awards and flowers being presented to the Howard family, perhaps? Did the team come out in "Missing Man Formation" at tip-off? Or did some classless Jazz player selfishly and senselessly view this as an opportunity, demonstrating virtually zero respect to the recently departed?

I bet some of you jerks were even hoping for the Thunder to lose yesterday and cheered when they fell. What unbecoming behavior. How many grinned as Kobe clanked shot after shot the other night? What if that was YOUR son? What has society become that we collectively hope for others to fail? Pathetic.

Josh, enjoy some time off and don't rush your return, please. Go Jazz.
