What is going on with tv these days? It seems like they start a new series, get people interested then drop it. Here is my list of shows that I would have liked to seen more of.

Arrested Development (did this get cancelled or did they just make 2 1/2 seasons?)
Flash Forward
The Event
Freaks and Geeks

Any other additions to the list?

"On October 2, 2011, it was announced that there are plans for the show to return for nine or ten episode mini-series that will lead up to a feature-length film.[5] On November 18, 2011, it was confirmed that Netflix would exclusively license an unspecified number of new episodes for an early 2013 debut on its streaming video service" - Wikipedia

No neg rep, but I disagree. I think it is easily the funniest TV show I've ever had the pleasure of watching and I'm not even sure there's a close 2nd.

As Feldheimer posted, it is coming back for 9 or 10 episodes and then transitioning into a movie. I read an interview with the show's creator and he said that he wanted to make a movie, but he didn't want to spend the entire movie explaining what each charachter has been up to during the span of the shows down time. Each episode will center on a specific charachter and their individual story leading into the movie.

We started watching Better Off Ted on Netflix and couldn't figure out why they canceled it at first. After 10 or 12 episodes it was still funny but it clearly lacked something. I wouldn't mind it back but wouldn't stay up late on a work night to catch it a.s.a.p.
