......pathetic shooting by the entire Jazz squad. Losing to a team playing the 3rd game of three in a row, and taking them to 4 overtimes.....is just inexcusable! Jazz did hit their free throws, did keep their turnovers down and did run some nice off the ball screens and picks. But that shooting? Pathetic!
 
Good point. It felt like we were taking it to them when we decided to look for easy shots. Then we would shoot contested (and wide open) jumpers, but just missed all of them. Tonight just wasn't our night.
 
Agreed. Utah had every opportunity to win the game (4 chances at the end of regulation & OT to win as the clock expired) and couldn't finish the deal (Millsap and Harris each missed two jumpers) and then allowed themselves to be outworked and outhustled in the 4th overtime by a team playing their 3rd game in 3 nights. Atlanta played some ugly basketball but they peservered, took it to the Jazz in the 4th OT and definitely deserved to win the game.

This is the kind of loss that can stick with a team for the next week so we'll have to see how Utah bounces back - more than just New Jersey, but against Boston and Sacramento as well.
 
My dvr didn't make it through the first OT, I suppose that's probably for the best. Even without having seen it I'll just say I think it's pretty pathetic to lose in 4OT to a team playing the third night of a b2b2b.

Seriously? Playing CJ Miles for three and a half overtimes, including as a PF and tonight wasn't their night? Leaving Burks on the bench who has more clutch 4th quarter performances in three months than CJ has in Six or seven years? Give me a break. This game is 100% on Corbin. That was the most pathetic coached game I have ever seen.

Corbin played Jefferson, Millsap and CJ over 20 straight minutes. Harris even more than that.
 
so why put this in a seperate thread it belongs in the GAME thread. but hey Carolina jazz thoughts are too important to be in the game thread
