Makes me feel old. I still remember when he was a spry, young 35-year old, styling on PGs who were in their nappies when he was a rookie.

Happy birthday, John. Quite likely the finest player us Jazz fans will ever see.

I never tire of watching old highlights of the best pg to ever step on a basketball court. He's the all-time leader in stills and assists. I just wish the jazz had someone with half the drive and competitive nature as Stock had.

Happy birthday John!

Hey John, pass me some moonshine!

The first Jazz game I ever went to was the triple overtime win over Jordan and the Bulls in '92. I miss that Jazz team.

40-year "old" John Stockton scoring 25 points against Jason Kidd and the Nets.

Sadly, I was too young to have ever caught him play live. VSlice's, Prodgy's, and other people's youtube videos are an utter blessing though. They have really familiarized me with what a spectacular player he was, despite the fact that I will probably never truly understand how great he was. Oh well.

Ill rock my Mitchell & Ness Stockton Jersey today though, in his honour :)

Thanks for posting - I remember I taped that game and it ran out as it was going into overtime. It was worth waiting 9 years to see the ending.
