Jazz Locker room Cleanout & Exit Interviews

And DWill is soft as a dandelion. If these guys want to get into shape, they need some hardcore NFL type ****, all the while working on their skills and keeping functionality in mind.

I bet Dwight Howard doesn't do P3.

I am sure Dwight Howard has a personal trainer. It isn't a big deal if several Jazz players go to P3 for their physical training. They would have/should have personal trainer anyway.

You mean the games where the Jazz struggled to score or even make it look like it was a competition at all? Al scored 10 points in that last stretch on nothing but magic, BTW.

Al Jefferson's game defeated Deron Williams and Jerry Sloan. You think you know something they don't?

I don't know what you are arguing with me about. I didn't say Al didn't score. I am saying the team played better or worse depending on what the game plan was.

The game plan changed depending on who was on the floor, and the results changed depending on who was on the floor. And I still fail to see what your point was since the Jazz got completely destroyed from the tip of game 1 to the buzzer of game 4. Unless you consider that feeble run at the end of game 4 something.

Do you think Al has a personal trainer and/or nutritionist? I don't. Unless his mom's on his payroll.

He's not in elite shape for a pro athlete imo.
1. As you seem like a football guy, I would hope you would understand that not everyone can or should be cut.
2. "Soft" usually refers to a person's demeanor or how they play. Deron does not fit that description in the least.

I loathe Brian T. Smith. The guy is negative and feeds on negativity, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't watch the actual games or understand basketball. So now today, he focuses on the negativity coming out of the exit interviews from two boneheads that aren't coming back next year anyway.

In a related note, Brian T. Smith also thought that Josh Howard's playoff experience was a justifiable reason for him to be starting, and when Howard leaked out on defense and caught a pass for an easy score in Game 1, he proclaimed quite proudly that "this is why Josh Howard is starting". In four games of this series, it might be the only thing Howard contributed, and it was less of a smart basketball play and more of a selfish play that just so happened to work.

tl;dr Brian T. Smith is a ****ing moron.

I dont really care where they go as long as Al doesn't have direct contact and input on Kanter and Favors off season training..........seriously. Ideally either of those guys would seek out their own thing based off what they need and become fitness leaders on the team instead of followers of someone they have no business following in that regard.

That would be like the recent MBA graduate of Harvard Business School being taken under the wing of the local State Farm insurance agent.

Anyone else think Favors sounds like Kawl?

"they want me to play, I'll play. They the boss."

I LOVE IT.

Derrick Favors- Knew he was in a great opportunity to wait and learn this year. Last night he said I just had to be patient. Working on conditioning and jumpshot in offseason. Going to Santa Barbara for summer. Wants to work on free throws.
More confident than at the first of the season, finally feels like he’s in the NBA. His mama and G-ma tell him to watch his mouth. Favors will play in the summer league because “they are the boss, I gotta do what they tell me what to do”

Favors is saying all the right stuff. If he does what he says he will do, he will be a top 2 PF.

I've thought about this a lot. What happens to Deron and Sloan if Jefferson had never come to Utah? I think he is more to blame for that situation than either of those two.

I wondered the same thing. Also you could throw Bell in there too. I think adding those two players set the dominos in motion.

Thatd the whole problem with Bell. He doesnt understand that it was his crappy play that got this team blown up and set forth a youth movement.

I am saying that the Jazz scored better when they stopped going to Jefferson over and over posting up Duncun or Splitter 10 feet from the basket and gettign squat. When other players got involved, and got open shots for AJ, AJ scored better.

PS the Jazz were not destroyed for 48 minutes straight. That is annoyingly absurd. You are just trying to frustrate me with your absurdity.

Jefferson is one of the best post players in the league, despite all the rest of his flaws. He isn't the worst person in the world to learn from. Jefferson isn't the one designing workouts, it's P3. Maybe Favors and Kanter's work in the weight room will motivate Big Al. Kanter and Favors obviously aren't weight room novices.

Hayward going to Summerleauge. Likes workouts but not summer pick-up games. Defense is decision and effort.
