Following potential 2012 draftees

Hate to false alarm a story .. but I have heard the Jazz have made a deal (again, I know) with GST. Details may not come out until draft night. I wasn't told this, at all, but got the impression there's a 3rd team involved. Know nothing of substance, at all ..

This comes from a damn good friend/source.

Stop being the date that wears low cut shirts but won't let you get to second base.

No real I love these.

I am happy with knowing something might be there. Thanks. I want to pry more but I will let it be for now.

You mean a deal involving the protection of the pick? Or a completely different deal?

Swear I don't know anything more. Not holding back. (Those that told me may be though)

I don't know that it matters, but this contact (that told me this) is a shoe afilliation one.

Different deal. I know no details, but it has to be different, because the first one involved GST protecting this year's pick .. which is no longer needed by them.

I wish to set out to rape them and be applauded by the rest of the league and its fans. EVERYONE is on our side (sans GSTs). Let's make them hurt, badly.

PKM, Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on you again you freakin psychopath.

Seriously, I don't care if you were making this all up. I need the entertainment during an otherwise long empty offseason. KOC would be upset if he knew about all these rumours, so is it Mark Jackson or the GS owner(s) that can't keep their mouth shut.

FWIW, I always thought the Bogut, Monta trade was strange. I got the feeling that it was a part of a mutli team trade where the other parts fell apart. Anyway, if the jazz had won the 2005 lottery (was that the Deron year?) who would they have taken overall? Jazz have a way of keeping players on their radar for a long time.

I hear ya and thank you. It's very hard to get anything at all. This info comes from a potential shoe company deal that's involved in the whole thing .. but I don't know what it is.

I would only want Curry,Klay and maybe Bogut on that team. And there's no way they've given up on Klay yet.

I would deal everyone but Hayward and Favors to get Curry. Burks would be really good with Golden St

That's cool, but it doesn't mean the players are NIKE .. I know this too well from the collegiate level ..

Okay, I need some help here. Not much of a college follower. But the way I understand it the shoe companies have 'pimps' at all the AAU type basketball events trying to entice kids to join with their brand. A kid can be in Adidas camp but go to a Nike University, like Kentucky.

But in the nba the league picks the jersey maker, and each player chooses his own shoes, so what interest does a shoe company have in getting their guy into SLC or into the Bay area? I can see them wanting to move their guy out of either of these areas to NY, Miami, LA, but really Lilard in Oakland would sale more shoes than Millsap, Jefferson, Bell, or Harris so what gives?

I'm happy to answer this, but it's a bit painful .. would prefer to have others explain (Cy, Hantlers .. anyone?). Hard for me to do this here.
