No BYU-Utah Rivalry Football Games in 2014 or 2015

I have heard nothing but whining from BYU fans all week about how we are killing the rivalry they put down the last 30 years. It kind of got to me, as seen by the, um, "strong" posts earlier tonight. I had a BYU fan pay me a compliment tonight, and I just wanted to make sure that normal BYU fan, not whiney BYU fan, BUT normal BYU, I do like you. You make the rivalry fun. Just good ol' fashioned bantering.

Douche bags like Trout, jerk BYU/Utah fan, and the author Benson, you are killing the rivalry. You make it not fun. You are the guy that attacks Coach Whitt's wife after the game. You are the guy that makes the game uncomfortable to others.

If I have offended normal BYU fan, normal, realistic BYU fan. I apologize.

Okay so you have proof that they were targeting BYU now? Because your current article doesn't come close to saying that.

You must have confused the guys name...Tuckett. With the word Target. :)
 
By the way Ute Fans, just realize that not all Cougar fans are as arrogant as Conan. :group hug:

Personally, I love Conan's posts. It's hilarious to see so many Utah fans take him so seriously. He merely puts the worm out on the hook and so many Utah posters on this board swallow it hook line and sinker. It's awesome. It adds to the flavor of this board. It's what makes things so interesting. He's the Artest or Rodman of this board.

Don't worry I think all of us have good friends that are BYU fans and realize not all of them are like him.

I like green am not trying to offend normal BYU fans.

Just asking for this particular fan to back up some of his ridiculous and outlandish comments.

And yet they ran from that game.

Did you forget that BYU barely, I mean BARELY won against a 6-5 Michigan team with their 4th string QB? It took a fourth quarter comeback for BYU in that game.

Keep in mind the #2-ranked Huskies refused to play them. And also BYU was riding a huge winning streak from the previous season. I think it was a cumulative championship. Once you're #1 you gotta be beat to lose it for the most times. BYU got there quick and hung on. The team that could've knocked them out took the coward's way out.

I am a cougar fan, and am glad the rivalry is over this way, with the Utes chickening out and pretending they are too cool for the rivalry. They finally get the upper hand and win a few in a row, and immediately think they are big stuff. Just because the cool kids at school needed a number and chose you and the other powerhouse, Colorado, doesn't mean you are actually cool. It really is amazing how big the heads are in Salt Lake County these days. Man, the Lavell years must have really hurt your feelings if you are this pumped about creating a new rivalry with Colorado. I completely understand though the need to rationalize your behavior as Ute fans, I even think I heard the cognitive dissonance "sproink" sound from inside the bubble. I get it, I hear the same noise when I try to talk myself into independence over being in a big conference. At first I thought BYU and Utah were the brothers that fought all the time but deep down liked each other.... now I'm starting to see that there were some serious feelings that were hurt. On behalf of all BYU players and fans over the years that hurt you deeply on the field and in the message boards... I am sorry we hurt your tender feelgoods, and hope you make a speedy recovery. What do you want put on the balloons I send you, and would you be able to fit them into your super tall trucks with your heads in there too?

Say all the crap you want about a national championship, it's just like a win. A win is a win no matter how ugly, a national championship is a national championship no matter how the haters, and jealous critics try to take away from it.

So again, I'm glad we won't be playing the stuck up Utes, soon to be the Utah Pioneers, or the Utah Hawks or the Utah Feathers. Go ahead and have your mediocre and losing seasons and explain on message boards how you were better than your record, and that with a few bounces your way you would have been a contender, you coulda been somebody. 10 to 1 you Youtah fanz watch all of the BYU games even though you don't play us those years just so you can trash talk even when the rivalry is over. I will probably have to put up with a clip or 2 from channel 5 when the Utes beat their 4 teams, and blame the other losses on injury and on Colorado just getting lucky.

Did I go over the top enough for you guys... I was trying to match you.

Please grade my attempt to keep the thread going strong.
