What's new

Buy, hold, or sell on Mo, Marvin, and Foye.

I'm curious where you folks think these 3 will finish the season compared to how they finished last season. For a standard of comparison we'll use PER.

MO = 15.02
Marvin = 15.87
Foye = 13.56

If you think their stock (or PER) is going to go up then buy. If you think their stock will stay steady then hold. If you think their stock will drop then sell.

I'll say

Mo = Hold
Marvin = Buy
Foye = Sell

I had a convo on this with a friend this morning and this was my estimate of what happens. The Williams will be back next year but not Foye.

Marvin certainly has the most potential to raise his stock, imo. I'm really hoping he can be the long term answer at SF.

I hope Foye raises his value. And KOC sells high.
Burks is the future.

That would be nice, but we've never picked up a guy just to deal him (even if that wasn't our intent from the get-go). If he does pick up some interest around the league then it will likely be like Josh Howard and just reaffirm our own interest in them. Our franchise has a history of being reluctant to bet against our first judgement.

I know you're right. I thought for sure they were going to trade Josh Howard last year at the deadline, but yeah, didn't happen. Foye's gonna be with us for a year and play well but limit Burks minutes. Which, is fine whatever but still kinda bugs. He'll be ok. Dunno why the Jazz draft players only to park them behind less talented vets. Sigh. I thought things woulda changed when Sloan retired. wah.
