Things are going to get really interesting in about 40 years I think.
People will look back at these times as the good old days, when the world was prosperous and stable and peaceful.

It may not even be that long. I'd say 20 years maybe less.

Interesting to think that France is showing a backbone and Germany isn't. Although France has always been a big supporter of freedom of speech/expression of the arts.

At least somebodies government is a supporter of freedom.

Also France denied a permit to protest the Youtube Islam film. Stupid.

In my opinion, yes it is obviously biased, that is the worst thing the middle east could ever do for itself.

All I'm sayin, and know that I don't believe in the recurrence of the history, but MiddleEast lived what it's living like a billion times in the past. We probably won't see it with our own eyes, but no empire held it forever. In my humble opinion, it won't be up to another empire which is so sealed off and comfy comfy that they don't know much about the other part of the ocean. But from where I stand I see the US keeping the success in those invasions up for many more decades. If a real revolutionary wave -one that is not enforced by the US- does not happen in Middle East there will be nothing stopping you guys.
