Are you being serious? Lol, I didn't even know this was controversial or debatable. The GOP has written off winning the black and/or Hispanic vote.
For example, while Romney was talking about self deportation and saying he'd veto the dream act, Obama was instructing his administration to stop deporting productive citizens and kids who had been here most of their lives (after republicans filibustered the dream act).
Another example... When republican nutjobs in Arizona made the infamous "papers please" law, Romney said it was a model for the rest of the nation and said he'd sign it as president if it came to his desk. Meanwhile, the Obama administration sued Arizona and got the law overturned.
We could go on and on here. You don't get so far behind in the polls as Romney is with blacks and hispanics, unless you have totally written those voting blocks off. If he hadn't written them off, we would have seen major effort on his part to win them back.
