And it is a complete JOKE. These dudes have no idea what they are talking about. Here issome of the piece involving the Jazz.

Utah Jazz

Celtics receive: Derrick Favors, Marvin Williams, Jamaal Tinsley and Raja Bell

Jazz receive: Paul Pierce, Avery Bradley, Chris Wilcox and Boston's 2013 first-rounder

Trade Machine: View this deal

Utah possesses a boatload of bigs and the Celtics could use one. Believe it or not, Garnett won't be around forever and this deal would give the Celtics their next big man to solidify their long-term foundation next to Rondo. It would also give the Celtics a pass-first (pass-only?) point guard in Jamaal Tinsley, which is kind of a big deal considering the C's don't have a pure point guard on the roster without Rondo.

Favors remains one of the most promising young bigs in the game, averaging 15-and-10 every 36 minutes along with high-impact defense. But he's struggling to find 20 minutes a night with three other productive players in the Jazz frontcourt. By sending Pierce to Utah, this would be a cold move by the Boston front office, but the Celtics should have an eye on the future given Rondo's injury and this could save them about $1.5 million if they want to eventually get under the tax.

As sson as I see favors and no talk of getting a top prospect youngn back. I vomit. I hate Pierce here and think Bradley is a waste. Thought he was overhyped at findlay.

The more important, and disappointing, indication of this is that simply on a national level the rest of the league thinks (knows?) we're committed to Jefferson and view Favors as more readily expendable as evidenced by how we use him in comparison to the over utilization of Jefferson. Is it reasonable to blame them for reaching these conclusions? Is this the direction non-biased people see our franchise going? All indications say yes.

I agree with both Numb and Vermin on this. I wouldn't trade Favors for Rondo straight up right now. Just not worth it.

I think it is completely reasonable. Frustrating but reasonable. Favors minutes have been reduced this season after starting to break out during the playoffs last year. Wasn't the point of making the playoffs to get experience? It seems as though the organization says what they think will keep us (the fans) happy and then do whatever they want to.

If you couldn't tell I am getting fed up with this garbage that they have been spewing.

I'm trying hard to find a positive to spin on this....

Its great that everyone out there recognizes how talented Favors is, and it is clear that KOC and Ty Corbin have got the whole league fooled abou the Jazz's future plans. Man I'd hate to play poker with KOC, I'd never know when he was bluffing. Now he can manuever and manipulate the other GM's into a trade that wouldn't overwise be available.

How'd I do?

If only he were this smart.

Just something to stir up their Boston market of readers. ESPSUCK has been full of panderers for nearly 20 years now (as opposed to their smart comedy early on).

#1 - we needed no further evidence that ESPN is clueless.

#2 - hahahaha about the Findlay Prep jab.

I think all this Pierce talk is nothing but a classic bait and switch. A GM will call Ainge asking about Pierce and he'll turn around and try to sell them Lee, Green or Terry. All 3 of those guys are useless if Boston is not a win now team (which they're not)
