The parade of NBA teams officials continues in Greece, as Giannis Adetokunbo seems to be one of the hottest NBA prospects in Europe. A representative of Utah Jazz was present in the junior league game of the 18 years old Philathlitikos player against Panathinaikos on Monday, 1st of April, and on Wednesday, 3rd of April, Adetokunbo will be playing with the senior team in front of a well known NBA figure.

*Giannis Adetokunbo finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal.

Thanks for sharing.

Anyone knows more about him?

He was mentioned in the draft thread, Siro.

People are hopeful that he can be the next versatile point-forward. Lot of height at SF, and a very versatile skill set.

As of now, he's quite thin build-wise.

That is what I recall hearing about him, at least.

Keep in mind, they said the same thing about Jan Vesely.

I don't remember the words skill and Vesely ever being used in the same sentence. I recall they thought he had some AK defensive potential, but I don't think anyone ever said he had ball skills.

He is playing for a second division Greek team but he will be transferred to Zaragoza, a first division Spanish team at the end of the year. I don't think he will go in the first round this year. He should prove himself with Zaragoza first. He is not a great shooter (shoots %32 from 3) but finishes well inside, He has long arms but is skinny. His basketball IQ is good but he definitely lacks experience. I wouldn't mind if we got him and let him develop at Europe.

He is going in the 1st round. A team like Miami or the Thunder would definitely take him if he actually fell to them that late in the 1st, because they could draft him and not worry about adding any salary for however long they want to keep him in Europe.

Yeah maybe, He is not there talent-wise yet though he will be eventually.

Smart man. Someone will take a draft and stash on him in the 20's.

So the Jazz have 3 picks this year.
2 in the late first, 1 in second round. It might not be unreasonable, given the amount of rookies incoming and the amount we already have and like, for the Jazz to take this guy and stash him till he's ready and we're not so young.

The guy is a physical specimen, but also highly skilled, one of the best raw talents in the draft imo. This ain't no Biyombo or Vesely. This guy can play---handle, pass, shoot, drive.

He also has hands like a 6'9" tree frog fwiw. Personally, I hope we take him.

I'd take him in the 20's and have him play one more year in Europe.
