Interesting SLCDunk Thread

I knew our Guard play was horiffic. It is just bad. It suprises me we have been able to stay at .500

And here's the main point:

I don't generally view position +/- as being a super vital stat, but when the discrepancies are that large, there's clearly something there.

SL Dunk sucks ***. I'd rather take an hour clicking through a bleacher report top 30 than visit that site.

I saw Than go's The Night Cafe at an exhibit in Vegas. Much more impressive in person. Still as bizarre as SL Dunk non-logic though.

Care to elaborate on the non-logic? The article in question is simply them giving what they take away from stats provided by 82games. Where do you think they went wrong?

I'm not surprised. Nor should any of us be. This is where we focus this summer... 1-2.

What does it take to get Wes Matthews back? Portland's going to be dealing this year. No way they stand pat. One of our later picks, plus a sign and traded Paul Milsap? Can we even do Sign and Trades anymore?

I'd love to get Lillard, but pretty sure Matthews is cheaper.

This just proves what we already knew, that our backcourt is not good. But did we really expect to take the Clippers second string back court, and bring them to the Jazz and by making them our starters, that magically they would be better?

We all know what needs to be done this offseason. It's not re signing AL or Millsap. it's finding a legit backcourt, be it through the draft, free agency or both, change needs to be made in the backcourt.

I agree but I think what the Jazz brought in this year was better than what they had.

For sure, it was a step in the right direction and an improvement over the previous season's backcourt.

I actually like Foye, and think he could be a great asset off the bench when being used such as Korver was. To come into the game, hit a few threes and keep the opposing teams D honest. But Ty seems to think he needs to play him the whole game, which Foye seems to struggle with.

Lillard is one of the most untouchable players in the NBA. Bottom of the tier that Lebron and KD are in in that regard specifically.

Portland does not deserve Lillard... If we had Lillard, we'd be so set to challenege the Thunder in the future
