you dont not pull the trigger on rondo over the surrounding shooters, we can find shooters. didnt we just pull the Jazz single season 3pt maker off the FA scrap heap last season?
... but we're still 28th in 3pt made this past season.

but Marvin and Mo were supposed to be our reinforcements for the shooters last year, Foyes the only who really panned out in that regard
Teague shot 36% 3's and Jennings shot 37.5%, Paul shot 33%
if Hayward can shoot near 40% and Burks can shoot near 36% again + we can plug in one of these PG's
grab a shooting SF like Glen Rice Jr or James Southerland, we have lots of firepower on the perimeter, even with Rondo
Hmm.. yeah still not liking the extra pass Rondo will always have to make to find shooters when Favors/Kanter passes back out.
- Burke is a good shooter
- McCollum is a good shooter
- Schroeder has potential
- Larkin is a good shooter
All these guys seem to be willing passer as well, I think there's enough there for us rather than breaking the bank to get Rondo..
u might be correct but i want to say this
Rondo - McCollum/Burks - Hayward - Favors - Kanter
has plenty of firepower on the perimeter and massive capabilities in Team Rebounding, Steals, Blocks and Assists.

Also Rondo will be demanding top $ for his service, make no mistake about that. With the new CBA the way it is, I think getting legit talent from the draft will be KEY.
The new model will likely be:
- 1 All Star
- 2 Fringe All Stars
- a collection of rookies, cheap contracts
If you're paying top $ for those All Stars & Fringe All Stars, they better be playing like one.
I'm really high on Larkin. Obviously undersized, but I don't see that as a problem for him.
Reminds me of a cross between Ty Lawson and Deron Williams.
i really like the jazz taking Larkin at 21, great value there in my book.. 44 inch vert.. what more could u ask for, he led miami to the ACC championship, bring him in, looow risk, not crazy upside but we dont need to hit a homerun every pick, hes a nice fit
