ha ha. you ever been in about 100% humidity and near 100 degrees F? That "regime" is more absolute than any monarch. If every blade of grass were a pen, and oceans filled with ink, 8 billion scribes could not write legislation and rules enough to be that oppressive. . . . well, until you learn to just love it for what it is.
moreover, my wife has a regime that far surpasses all that, though fortunately, if I care to consider the matter carefully, she is commensurately more lovable.
I reject the "regimen" suggestion as sounding too much like a weight-loss diet. . . . nope. . . the word is indeed "regime".
