What is wrong with us. I mean this is our chance to make a reasonable gamble. I can't stand this fans who are not going to allow a bad year an outlier happen for the good of our beloved team. Lets not be an ignorant fan base we can't have Gordon Hayward as our top option and remain a team that is even competitive in the West.

There is a difference between tanking and creating a losing culture. Utah is evaluating what they have and hoping for the best and the best efforts of their players. They don't want to lose for the sake of losing as then you become a professional bottom feeder.

I appreciate you trying to give losing a positive spin but losing is never good for the players no matter how you're losing or how you go about it.

Getting one gimme win and being happy about it doesn't mean we're not going to have the worst record. The Jazz are 1-8 for hell's sake. They are tanking like pros.

To put that in perspective, were only about 10% into the season and are already 1.5 games behind the 29th place team in the league. We're doing just fine

We can't ask the players to tank. This is their livelihood.

But the organization? Hell yes. If they start making moves to be competitive, I'll have issues with that.

I openly challenge you to find one poster who has said all of the following:

- Against the bad record that is sure to happen
- Wants Hayward as a top option
- Is not Embracing the draft and the chance at a superstar.

I chose those as that is what you are saying. No worries, I will wait for you to search.

Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry seem to have recovered. Maybe they got some counseling.

Its ok man. It was one win at home. It was going to happen. The Jazz are still on track. The future has not been stolen. Jazz were never going to be 0-82.

I would root for couple of wins when you consider that 0.357 % chance to get 4th pick on the lottery for the team with the worst winning record. Cause it can get ugly like this;

1. X team - Wiggins
2. Y team - Parker
3. Z team - Randle
4. Jazz - Err... Exum!!

I hear yeah. I'm a little surprised myself the reaction of some jazz fans for one wins in nine games

It's because the team that just went 1-8 is not the same team that we're going to have the entire season. Trey is coming back, and he WILL make a difference. We'll still lose a lot of games with him, but we won't be this bad, I'm sure. Right now while he's out is our window of opportunity to get a head start on the other tankers.

Plus, I get that this draft is deep. But, in all honesty the top three players are going to be the REAL DIFFERENCE makers if we win too much we put ourselves out of the can't miss. Sure, we might get another Gordon Hayward which fans will fall in love with. But, these are just childhood crushes it is time to win the lotto and score with a 10 instead of a 4 1/2.

And the players will NEVER tank. It's up to the front office to bring in the players in to achieve the desired record (Mr. 0-7). I'd also prefer my coaches to try to win, to see what they can do to improve a bad roster. Front office can work tanking magic later.
