Corbin disrespect Kanter

Some of you are nuts.

Kanter is essentially Memo as a jump shooter without the ability to finish inside, shoot from 3, set a screen without picking up an offensive foul, and defend. He might even be slower than boozer or big al.

Essentially, we are getting just as bad of defense as boozer, big al, and memo, without getting near the offense.

That my friends, isn't good.

And to be honest, I don't see kanter improving much defensively. Not unless he grows 3 more inches or puts another 10 inches on his vertical.

Sitting him down is the right thing to do, and I'm an avid Corbin hater. Enes's effort and focus has looked poor recently. Playing biedrins ahead of Gobert is questionable. But not benching Enes. That's just common sense.

You bitched against AL for so long and claimed that Kanter has to start. And now you are giving up that early on him ? I think that everythink will change, once he gets his strenght back. Dude was like a bull last year with just 238.1 pounds and also very quick, active and agile.

Getting rid of Big Al was a must, I'm not sure how you could argue against that.

I think a lot of Kanter's issues has to do with fatigue. I expected this. The guy was hurt all summer long. And now has to go from 12 to 18 mins a game to 25-30. But it's no excuse. He should give his all when he is in the game and he isn't doing that.

I wonder where "underTanker" is hiding. He was probably the biggest Kanter supporter through out the summer. I wonder how he is feeling about it.

No, I didn't read your post. We may have been posting at the same time. Yes, I understand about earning playing time. These guys have not been getting a lot the minutes in the past when they had Jefferson and Millsap in front of them. In a year when we aren't gonna make the playoffs you need to let these guys develop and play through struggles. If we were a playoff team then I would agree with the earn your minutes theory. With Kanter being a 3rd overall pick, you need to give him the time on the court. If he doesn't progress or fit in to the future plans then trade him at the end of the year.

Sounds good on paper, however, it doesn't take a whole year to see if a player is good for the team or not. Keep in mind, there are all the practices that we don't see either.

Smart players make the most of their time on the court by being efficient. Evans, for the most part, has been real efficient out there, but doesn't get much time. Gobert has his moments but got benched, too.

In other words, there are many guys on this team that seem like they should be playing more.

Summary: Corbin's coaching methods are random it seems. Maybe he has a guy in a secret room with a bowl of names. That guy just randomly pulls names and then how much time that player gets that night. ;)

I have a feeling we could have a fan situation similar to Carlos Arroyo with Enes Kanter on this board soon.

I'm sure some of you remember that.

Kanter's gonna be better after the all star period for sure. Yeap he seems he's regressed in all areas but we should not give up him or call "bust". The pressure on him makes him even worse than who he's. His concentration and motivation is deepest since he's been playing for the jazz. Technically, he knows he does not have strenght and physical condition to battle under the rim after the injury so, we have not seen him posting up on offense. And when his shooting does not get in, he seems useless out there. The defense issue is another story. I have been telling it for 3 years. He really does not know where to stand, how to cover the opponent and reacts so slowly. He really needs someone to teach him all details and make him watch all tapes. Even though he's got disadvantage of height, wingspan and quickness he must not be worse than booz. The box out issue is all about concentration and strenght. He seems lighter than all big guys and pushed easily. He must gain some pounds and retrust himself again.

I do.
But I, as a Turk am not overestimating EK's talents.
I just want him to have some opportunity for the upcoming -err- 45 games or so, so that one can see what he is really made of.
This has never been the case when he was kicking *** and taking names (he got hosed most of the time)
Player development is a must for this organization, since apparently tank is rolling just fine.

Besides, we Turks criticize him heavily when he deserves, which may be the case sometimes, like his NT beef.

I don't know about Arroyo thing but if it was about homerism, I don't think that will be the case with Enes and the Turkish posters. As far as I can remember, Turks in this board criticize Enes in almost every posts, including me.

Heck, I am even considering changing my username to "Enes Can't Tear You Apart", or even "Enes Can't Do Any ****"

Though I'm pretty sure he can ****.

A little exagerrated about the limited offensive skillset to set Enes similar to Memo, but agree with the logic that he is obviously limited in the scale of capabilities.

And I think the worst part is that he seems to have stopped trying hard to get better. And by better, I mean his mental state. Not his basketball skills. He is still the inexperienced bulk of meat he looked like in his worst days of his rookie season.

Getting more athletic is also hardwork but we have all seen how he could improve in one off-season before. I think Kanter's problem is mental.

Are you serious about this post?
