As long as the new coach is willing to play Kanter and Favors together and work the ball into the paint, rather than playing this D'Antonio ball .........I will be happy.
So you want Alfense?

Did he underperform your expectations or something? I don't know/care enough about his playoff adjustments to judge him either way. You have my ear though.
It's not like the Jazz to let a coach go this long without a contract extension though. I feel that it's a good sign that we have not even heard talk of an extension this late into the season.Agreed. At this point who even cares anymore.
But my fear is he'll be back next year. It logically doesn't make sense with better coaches out there, but this organization can by loyal to a fault. And I say this as someone who appreciates loyalty.
Just because he wants to work the ball into the paint does not mean he wants the offense to stop when it gets there. So you want Alfense?

Well then they need to be taught it. And that is the coaches job.The problem is that Favors and Kanter currently are absolutely horrific interior passers at this point in time that the offense will do nothing but stop whenever the ball goes in the post.
