Westminster guard Michael Stockton’s 26-point effort in a recent 64-46 victory against Point Loma Nazarene was good enough to win the Frontier Conference men’s Player of the Week honor, the first of his career.

The senior from Spokane, Wa., was 8-of-11 from the floor, including connecting on both three-point attempts. It was the second weekly player award this season for the 6th-ranked Griffins (11-1).

Yep he's the son of you know who. For the season he's averaging 19.5 points on .595 shooting .345 from 3 and .837 FT. He's averaging 4 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

They are big school NAIA. Before you diss that level of competition, Jack Sikma, Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, and Jeffers played at that level.

I have no problem accepting that somebody that puts up good stats might be good on a lower level. If it's Stock's boy though, we want him to pump up those assist numbers a little more.

Why don't we just pick Jimmer Fredette while we are at it.
He should be available in the later portion of the 1st round.

;)
