Free Agent Rumors Thread

While I love Lance, he's the type of player that needs some solid vets to keep him from killing your locker room. Hell, even PG had issues with him. Lance would cause all kinds of problems and mess with our tender, young squad.

Those who think we even have a small chance at Parson's are not listening. He opted out (Rox released him) to help the Rox position a deal for Melo/LeBron. He's waiting for that to flesh out and he'll act on the deal the Rox have already worked out for him. He's not an option.

Yep. Unless Parsons has the character of Carlos Boozer (which he doesn't). He was not unhappy in Houston like Boozer was in Chicago.

Yeah... Parsons is not a "real" free agent... I would try to pull a Boozer with him though and offer him more than the Rox would.

Stephenson will end up in LAL or Hou or NYK depending on who misses out on the Lebron, Carmelo recruiting tour.

Well, it's karma. Different owner, but we screwed Cleveland by signing Boozer. They thought they had an "understanding" Boozer would re-sign if they let him out of his contract. But he took the money and ran.

Bye bye Gordy!

Good. Now we can finally start Burks at SG and sign a player who can actually shoot (Parsons) at SF. Parsons is already a far better player.

Addition by subtraction IMO.

I'm wondering if Gordon does in fact go sign and trade with them if there was some sort of "tampering" done during the draft trade time-frame?? It would all depend on what Utah got back and also sent out of course.

How are the Rockets going to afford Parsons at $12 million and a add Lebron at the Max?

He started fights with teammates? Boohoo. I want a guy like that who's gonna challenge our soft players.

There is a difference between healthy disagreements and constant fighting with your teammates. He's a selfish stat whore and whoever signs him will likely regret it. Remember this last year was "good" Lance. He has little incentive to be good once you give him $50 M.

Risky title contenders aren't touching him... why would we?

If we decide to let Hayward leave we don't need to make a panic move like overpaying Lance or Ariza. Find a fill in at small forward... it's not like we are going to the playoffs this year with or without one of these guys.
