"I want to thank....my psychologist!!!

Ron Artest is a little off in the head, and even he knows it. I see no issue with him seeing a psychologist or saying "Thank you to my psychologist for helping me keep my mind clear." Actually, I applaud him for seeking help.

Spoken like a true Looney Tune.

Ron Artest, Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vuvu, and Adam Morrison all have more rings than Stockton, Malone, Sir Charles, The Glove, Ewing, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, and Elgin Baylor combined. This just goes to show how overrated this "ring" crap discussion is.

After watching that post game interview, I cam away feeling one thing...

I really like Artest. Seems like a good and misunderstood kid. I thought his mentioning his days in Indiana and what he felt were telling beyond belief.

It was hard not to after watching that interview...I love how he brought his whole family out with him...and it was good to see both his parents up there with him.

but........ he... had... a psychologist... so clearly... he's a mentally... challenged hopper...

First of all, I'm not a fan. Second, he made some clutch plays.

Context for the loss... He credited all that helped him work trough his ********. BFD!

OT: Shouldn't Artest be thanking his psychiatrist??? Isn't a psychologist not an MD, more of a scientist who studies the brain??

Other way around. Traditionallly only M.D.'s, with further specialization in pyschology, have been referred to as "psychiatrists."
