Paschall traded to the Jazz

He better come ready to grind. He probably won’t see the floor unless he improves a whole lot or we need the depth. If he comes ready to commit to shooting, defense, and rebounding, he has a real chance.

I'm guessing this is for one of the TPEs, but I do find it somewhat surprising after the Whiteside signing.
I like Paschall, but how many centers do we need? He's a small ball 5 right? Isn't he a liability at the 4?

I really like the player, but why do this with Doke, Rudy AND Whitesiden now.

Maybe Whiteside and Paschall won’t both be kept? Either way, we’re adding actual NBA players. Talent. Not scrubs like Morgan in whom no one has interest. I also have no problem flipping some of these dudes for a better asset if the opportunity arises later on.

I’m with LoPo, what are we even doing? Why would an entire roster need NBA quality guys at EVERY spot?

These are unprecedented times. Global pandemic still raging, rampant inflation, ever growing divide between the right and left and yet we are out here filling a GD roster with quality, sometimes 3 deep?

Just reeks of a disconnect to the common man’s struggle. SMH

I mean he had a hell of a good rookie year. He and Mitchell are besties from shield hood. He could do well here, I don’t know why the big drop off in year two? How is his defense.

let’s see here….

conley/Ingles/ Butler
Mitchell/ Clarkson
O’Neale/ Ingles/ Gay
Bogdanovich/ Gay/Paschall
Gobert/ Whiteside/ Paschall

gives the jazz options. This is a deal *** team though. I have to believe he’s better than he was last year.

So I’ve mentioned needing to have a Royce replacement in case he gets injured. Does he figure into this? Can he play D and start for a few minutes in Royce’s spot?

Personally, I haven't seen a lot of Paschall, but the few games I have seen, I feel he's been a bit inefficient and mostly a mid-range shooter (although it seems he _can_ shoot the 3), but he's active and probably also developing. Hopefully, he can be a threat as a stretch big this year.

What about the move do you not like? Adding wing depth for cheap seems like a win. Plus it's going to make Donovan very happy.
I never said I didn't like the move. Jeez people always go straight to negative these days.
