Hardy Says Keyonte Has a Chance to be a Star

View attachment 16132

They using this time to make Keyonte our #1.
Last night was the most aggressive I’ve ever seen him. He was pulling out the most wicked crossovers I’ve ever seen him employ. Usually he scores big because he’s hitting a bunch of threes and maybe he makes 3-4 2’s. He was looking to drive and my favorite stat was his 8 ft’s. That’s what #1’s do. We might have to give him a phantom injury just like Lauri if we are going to keep our pick.

Beautiful shot, great handles, extreme confidence, good size, basketball junkie.
Bodes well for him to have a great career.

Keyonte Darnell George has lifted the morale and sentiments of JazzFanz across the King’s commonwealth. King Charles and Queen Camilla are partaking of inebriant with renewed enthusiasm after observing KDG’s bamboozling cross over dribbles. When Keyonte Darnell throws the ball into the goal from the distant side of thy “three-point” painted line, viewers in pubs across the land cheer mightily.

Did you know Collin and Keyonte both have the same middle name?

Double Darnell’s… what does it mean???

Lol, would you like some tea and crumpets to go along with this conversation? What’s all this King Charles talk I always have to pull out my dictionary to understand those big words you use;)

The nature of bestowing names upon organisms may be influenced by culture and individual whim. Perhaps tis’ but a coincidence, this conjoining of reference markers “Darnell.” To establish a causal connection there must be more than a constant conjunction of events. No sir. We do not directly observe causality.

Totally disagree… I think? Or maybe I’m with you. Not that I’m old enough but I remember my parents talking about Larry Darryl and Darryl on some show. Double Darnell’s feels like something. Can we find a Larnell?

This is my brother Darryl and this is my other brother Darryl

I already told you guys this before we even drafted Key.
I really like Key and think he will be an excellent longterm piece for us but just like I said with Kessler last year we shouldn't be making any moves with the expectation for guys with a year or less of experience as if they are sure things. I've seen way too many young players have solid rookie years and then stagnate or regress after that point.
Ok

I sure hope so. It seems jazz ain't going to retain their 2024 pick, so if Keyonte can become great, I expect him to be good enough in 25-26, so Jazz makes the playoffs to get Some experience for the core, before contending really... before Lauri turns 30

Huh? Seems to me that they are. They have been doing a lot of losing lately which bodes well for retaining their 2024 pick. (Plus they have 2 other 2024 picks as well)

He’s a total bucket and he drips swag. Gem of a draft pick.

His rookie year didn’t set the world on fire like Donovan’s (mainly because we decided to suck) but he has a chance to be a similar caliber player.

How many guys can score the way he can in any given draft? I say 1-2.
