You’re overreacting.I don't think I've watched a single top rated player in this draft who I think is properly rated if it was anywhere close to a normal draft. They are all projected like ... 10-15 spots higher than I usually see that type of players. To be fair I haven't watched a ton of them... I'm just starting to watch a bit more of them... but Sarr... Risacher... Knecht, Cody Williams... Topic... Sheppard... Dillingham.. so much meh...
Probably not but ... Hendricks wasn't projected as a no. 1 pick. And to be fair... I think I liked Hendricks more than I liked Risacher last summer. I still am to watch more of him from this season. He was HORRIBLE last summer. IMO there is a distinct possibility that Risacher is a total bust in the NBA. Like worse than Dante type of bust. He was playing like Dante was playing for us... but he was playing with and against other 18 year olds. Was Taylor Hendricks a better prospect than Risacher?
He's the 3rd to 5th scoring option when the team is fully healthy. Dont expect too much. It's a lot of projection with him.He seems to... kind of float out there... not quite sure what he needs to be doing.
Another thing you have to account for that these Freshman had covid hit when they were 14/15. They had an interruption in the key development stages which is why they are probably so far behind.

Our own if it falls in the top 10.I'm all confused on what picks we currently have for 2024. Our native if it lands in the top 10, a very late first (who's?) from a trade deadline deal this year? And, a very early second via the Wizards? Is this correct?

I would take Tyler Kolek with our late first or early second pretty easily. He seems like he will be an impact player in the league and have a long career.
Kolek might actually be one of the first players who seems to be reasonably rated. Which probably means that by draft time he will be top 20 pick.I would take Tyler Kolek with our late first or early second pretty easily. When you pick 9th, you rationalize the players weakness as being acceptable. Which one should we accept and still get a long-term quality player? Is Cody Williams "soft" or is he still nursing an injury? Can Castle shoot? This player is great but he is too short. And the list goes on? Who do you take 9th and it not being a waste (which half the time it is)?The scary thing about this draft is that you can almost see every player bust very easily in the top 10. I think draft boards will be all over the place this cycle. The 3 international guys held the top 3 spots for most of the season, but I have a hunch that might be because people paid less attention to them while the domestic prospects looked bad. I'm interested to see if we cycle back to Matas/Holland/Collier to the top of the draft.
That was a real good look...Cody choked
