Fair, but so will a defensive liability. Think Tre, Fears, and Ace all have uphill battles to be true “winners”….but Ace does have more two way potential IMO.
Going to be honest though, I would just prefer VJ or Kon who are more clear winners IMO.
The chatter seems to be that Ace's team is comfortable with their position heading into the draft. The agent seems to want Ace to end up in Washington or maybe Brooklyn. Both teams have been trying to trade up.
Ace turned down workouts with Philly, Charlotte and Utah. Krysten Peek suggested that Ace worked out with Washington early on. That's the only workout I heard of.

Easiest trade: Jazz move up to #4, giving the Hornets two 2RPs, one this year, one in the future. Jazz get Tre/Ace. Hornets get Knueppel.

I'm surprised Tre Johnson wouldn't go there, but I can understand he wants touches.
Lots of good info in today’s Simmons pod around the 1:21 and the 1:44 mark. They delve into Danny’s process. Said Jaylen Brown had a bad year but Danny saw through it and liked his potential too much. Same thing with Rondo. Said Danny cares most about pedigree and high school rankings.

As others have mentioned, David Locke was selling Ace pretty gratuitously this morning.
Agents don't want their players there more than anything. Ball is seen as immature and then they got a dude like Bridges. Doesn't help that they had that one first round selection who ended up getting a DUI and is now out of the NBA . It's seen as a place your guy goes and fails due to the environment around him.

If the Jazz do pick Ace, I will become his #1 fan.
Jazz have likely been getting trade-back offers. I think Fears is a guy the Jazz would take if they moved back a couple spots, say with New Orleans. If Kon goes at 4, then Ace, Tre and Fears are probably picks 5-7. Jazz could flip with the Pels, who apparently want Ace. One way or another, the Jazz should get their choice of those three guys--fallout from Kon being a target of Charlotte.
