2025 Off-Season Trade Ideas Thread

Somebody is going to rob NOP once they realize they’re not a playoff team and have made a big mistake. Maybe that’s when we take advantage.

Are we sure they aren't as playoff team? I feel like you can get there almost accidentally in the Eastern conference.

Not sure where to put this, but since it seems like our dudes are worth ****ing nothing, it underscores even further how important it is to retain our pick next year (and by extension, be ****ing BAD).
It's the contracts more than anything. Everyone knows Clarkson was a far worse player, but he got snatched right up by a ECF contender once the price was right.

Uhh… yeah. When they’re not under contract, they’re no longer our players.

Tanking also hurts players value. In two ways.
1. The players play worse and less often and with varying ugly lineups.
2. Teams know we don't want guys like Sexton, Clarkson, Collins etc messing up the tank so we get lowball offers.

It is shocking how much teams dont value guys after a tanking season. I would have thought these guys had more value but it really feels like the league has a very short memory when it comes to evaluations.

If a player has an off year they go in the garbage pile I guess.

I wonder if springer’s and Martin’s non-guaranteed contract will be used to give somewhat cap relief for a price.

If the Kings get Kuminga they must trade Derozan. Collins/Derozan/Rozier 3 way is still alive.

I’m also calling the Kings to see if they still have interest in Lauri. I want their picks.
