End-of-season starting lineup

Let's try and predict who will be starting for the Jazz at the end of the 2025/26 season ( in the late February/beginning of March) by factoring in the expected players development, injuries, trades etc.

In 7 months we can review the predictions and crown our well-deserving prophet(s)!

My starters: Kessler - Markkanen - Bailey - Williams - Clayton.

The reasoning: the Jazz will not be able to trade Lauri or Kessler and they will force-feed minutes to Ace, Cody and Clayton to see what they have and to secure much needed losses. The Jazz would love starting Hendricks but they simply cannot afford moving either Markkanen or Bailey to the bench and Ace at 2 is not his natural position.

I’m 99.99999999999999% sure neither Lauri or Kessler get traded let alone both. The price is way too high or Kessler would be a laker and Lauri a warrior I don’t believe the Jazz have any desire to trade either at all.

I just think it will be a heavy contusion season and by then we will be in serious load management.
