I was talking about the effect it would have on me. Wasting a 28th pick or whatever it was on Dok was frustrating, but it's only a low pick. Wasting the 5th pick on a player I have no interest in whatsoever would feel much worse.

It would be like Azubuike but 10x worse.

On second thought, given his ‘go 100% all the time’ energy, his many (defensive) tools/gadgets, and taking parts of first and last name, it should be Hugo ‘GoGo’ Gonzalez.

I’m hoping the same thing for Flip, but he was already so good as a rookie that I’d rather spend whatever improvement there will be on someone else. Guy put up 16/10/3 per 36 minutes shooting 50% as a rookie and 35% on 3s as a big man. He’s impressive already.

It's not about willingness to work hard, it's about Thibs playing a short rotation very heavy minutes throughout the regular season.

Perhaps just sign Chris Paul to shore up the backcourt and we wouldn't be too far off the play-ins.
