Yeah this is obviously called inconsistently (which is frustrating), but I love it when this is called right. A defender should have a right to his own space.
I do think some posters have been overly negative, but I do think there is a difference between losing the series (even getting swept) and losing the series while not giving your top effort. I just like seeing high effort because I want to prove to ourselves and to the League that we're here to...
While Green did get hot, we're definitely playing terrible. Way too much pointless dribbling. None of the crisp passing we've grown accustomed to. Getting completely lost on defense. Not attacking with the pick and roll. Etc.
I apologize in advance for stepping in as a longtime lurker and making such an important game thread. But it's 3:30 and I still don't see one, so I guess it's my chance to step in and Sundiata Gaines this ****.

Thanks to the recommendation by fishonjazz, I checked out the Bout Time in Cottonwood Heights. I can't vouch for the size/location, but the food was actually pretty damn good.
Yeah I'm sure that's what's running through their heads. I'd be more forgiving of that mindset if it weren't for Paul acting like a punk all game. If you're lenient over and over and over, of course he's going to do whatever he feels like in the final minutes of the game.
What a great win for this young team. We got way better shots the majority of the game, but we just couldn't get hot. Proud of them for hanging in there and just finding a way to win anyway--feels like that's been the story of this season so far.
Woohoo! Playoffs!
So my wife and I are young recent grads who couldn't afford cable this year. I've been getting by by attending a few games and watching the 9-min highlight vids of most every game. But that obviously won't do for the playoffs. If I can't find a friend to catch the game with...
Just a random semi-related note..
Once while I was on a train in Spain, I heard two teens talking up Rubio. He was probably still pretty young then, certainly not in the NBA yet. Since I didn't get to talk basketball with too many Spaniards, we had a fun conversation. They kept calling Rubio...
Someone already beat me to the point, but I think the downfall of Kirilenko was actually the signing of Boozer. As a PF, Kiri could use his quickness to face up slower players, and his blocking skills were much more effective while defending fours. While he had the quickness to stay with any...
I'm not Cy (obviously), but yes. I think the confederate flag is racist. And I, like nearly the rest of America, am not saying that people can't fly the confederate flag, but there's no government buildings should be flying a past symbol of racism unless that's the message we want to present to...
