I hear that but you're going to hamstring your ability to win a title with this nucleus just to get below 2nd apron?
I think they're looking for a solution that gets them below that threshold but still keeps them more competitive than the pile of ******* we could send them in return.
Don't think we get Jrue Holiday for that stash. Celtics still in "win-now" mode and Jrue is a huge piece of that. IMO they'd need more and would probably want a better "win now" piece than we can offer (in lieu of future draft picks).
Classic, polarizing, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" type. I'm guessing teams have him all over the place.
I generally find myself "out" on about 80% of those guys, the exceptions being those with freakish measurements.
This dude POPS on tape.
The size is an issue and I do wonder if he’s duplicative to Keynote but I think he’s a better playmaker.
If we don’t trade out of 5, I hope we move down for him or Kas. Or just take them there, whatever.
Kon’s measurements scare the crap out of me. 6’5, + 1 wingspan, and plays with “meh” athleticism.
He’s got great strength, balance, and body control but I worry he just gets gobbled up by long athletic wings.
Zero interest in Kon at #5.
I would die a little on the inside if we leave draft night with Malauch but could be open to flipping Kessler at the right price.
Though I think the "right price" is multiple FRPs, not Dalton Knecht.
IMO it's less about who we've picked, but where we've picked, that's been the biggest problem so far. He's had mid-late lotto / mid-late firsts in two "meh" drafts.
At the time of the draft, Sensabaugh has been the only pick so far where I thought to myself - "huh." And he's been fine for a...
Joker needs some help.
I wonder if they'd be interested in Lauri. Though I don't see a single thing on their roster / in their draft war chest that we'd want.
