If Ainge thinks he can get who he wants at 8 we ought to make a deal with Brooklyn. There are so many options and I bet he will be getting calls for #5 as Bailey/Tre/V.J. is widely considered better than who comes next.
NBADraft.net finally matched us with Tre which shows they're finally paying attention. They have us drafting Penda later in the first and in the 2nd Jaxson Robinson (5th year senior but has a nice overall game) and the Aussie Olbrich.
If Beringer is there at 21 I will be super excited though if...
I will be so annoyed if we take Kon. I want the leftover from Ace, VJ and Tre. Of course, if someone wants to make us an offer we cannot refuse that's cool too.
What's interesting is Herro has an awful wingspan (6'3") and Tre has a 6'10" wingspan (which is the same as Clarkson - but Tre is 3" taller than JC). I would bet Tre will be there at 5 though and I'm not complaining. I like how Tre can shoot from anywhere:
If you like numbers here's a really...
Although it sucks we got ****ed out of Flagg or Harper at least we're in that tier for VJ, Bailey and Tre. I can live with any of them - all have their pluses and minuses and I feel there's a drop after 5.
My brain says Bailey and my heart says Tre though I don't think VJ or Bailey will be...
I bet it will give Collier a chip on his shoulder to some degree. Clearly Collier takes direction well as he improved as the season progressed. He has a great attitude and is clearly an unselfish team player. I'm hoping his improvement is a Brice-like jump and of the three rookies I think...
One can be confident as well as grounded.

Like I said, he's grounded and I think he and Harper are likable people. He's also still 18 years old:

I went with Ace as I really liked him earlier in the season. I think he's the safest bet. We know he can defend and I think he'll be a solid scorer. He seems like a grounded guy as well.
The fact all three guys have a decent amount of votes is good - unless Ainge does something shocking one...
This upcoming season will make or break him. Look at how much Brice improved from year one to year two - I'm willing to give Cody that chance to improve before I damn him.
If Bailey is there at 5 I would like to draft him. If he's not, Tre all the way. Though I can see Ainge falling in love with Knuepel. Remember - Ainge has had very good luck in recent years with Duke players.
I had Ace as my 2nd pick earlier in the season but Harper outplayed him in the 2nd half; if Ace is there at 5 I would be glad to have him on the Jazz - he reminds me of JJJ. If Tre is there I can live with him also though I prefer Ace over him.
