2014 NBA Playoffs: Conference Finals

Kirk Snyder is a complete *** clown. His antics should force Bird's hand to let him go. I can't believe the refs didn't kick him out early in this game.

Hibbert is a waste.

Why did they give away collison and roll with Hill?

Vogel is terrible. Why didn't he make any lineup changes?

West and scola are old.

George is ok. But he needs help.

Seriously, how did Kirk Snyder's clothes line on Cole not get him kicked out?

coaching change should be #1 priority for sure. i thought i was watching corbin coach out there.

i wouldn't mind keeping stephenson if he can be had cheap. his antics probably cost him alot of $. i'm guessing moving Hill would be hard too because he makes so much money and does nothing as PG.

damn, i would be depressed if i'm a pacer fan. lol this is like 90's all over again losing to bulls over and over. lol at least reggie's pacers were feisty as hell. this team is soft mentally.

I wonder if they are going to make a run at Hayward since it appears they might not want to bring Stephenson back.

No need to "blow up" the team though. Think they will need to find an athletic front-court player to compliment the slow Hibbert and aging West.

And an athletic PG who can get into the lane and make plays for teammates. George Hill is a nice combo guard who should be coming off the bench. He can shoot it sometimes, can play some defense with his size, but just doesn't make the game easy for his team. Bledsoe would be ideal for Indiana.

yeah, bledsoe would fit nicely with the pacers.

but IMO, george hill is the real black hole. more i think about it, he is the real reason why pacers aren't going anywhere. soft, no leadership, no passion, dude who is just happy to be there. this guy is a walking mediocrity.

maybe he should go back to spurs and get schooled by pops. i'm so disappointed in hill because i had a high hopes for this guy. me disappoint

Man a Hayward George 2/3 combo would straight murk fools IMO. Honzward would put up Parsons numbers with better defense IMO.

But yeah they're biggest hole is at PG. George Hill is not the answer for that team. They simply need a better offense. PG24 is not an elite offensive player that they can build off of. David West is getting older. They need a PG.

The way they rested Wade during the regular season seems to be paying off. He's a legit sidekick again.

Good luck, Pops.

Iawtp

And like everyone is saying..... hill is the biggest problem

Hill is the #1 problem? You folks must have seen a different playoffs than me.

True, he is one of their problems.

But what about the guy who was the most scrutinized player on the Pacers over the past few weeks?

How can you win when your 7 foot 2 center plays like a 2 foot 7 teddy bear? How much is Indy paying him?

Gobert is more of a presence than Hibbert.

Hill isn't their #1 problem, hibbert is. Then poor PG play/Frank Corbin's offense. Finally, not enough shooters, Kirk Snyder will always hurt you more than help, and Turner sucks.

Lance Stephenson was great for them this year and was overall a positive for the team, especially at his contract price. That might change depending on what his contract is going to be. On second thought, I don't think he will lose that much money. All of his antics have been weird on-court issues (if I'm not mistaken), and nothing of serious issues. The Kirk Snyder comparison is dumb as **** and I would expect no less from Helen.

George Hill the problem? He isn't an ideal starter, but he is a great 3pt shooter and a good defender. He plays his role and does it well.

I will say the Pacers biggest mistake was trading for Evan Turner. Danny Granger might not have produced in the playoffs at all, but he was a veteran leader on the team. By bringing in Turner they just brought in a young player who was derivative to what they already had, but much worse and unable to play any kind of defense.

Anyone who says they need to get a new coach is mentally deficient. You don't give up on a coach who has done that much positive so quickly, unless you are guaranteed at being able to sign Phil Jackson or Popovich.

They will need to upgrade their bench to add some scoring/shooting. They will need to add more athletic ability on their front line.

If I'm the Pacers I try my hardest to get Carmello. Carmello/George makes a ton of sense for a superstar combo team. Offensive superstar with some defensive deficiencies and a defensive superstar who doesn't have enough offensive to consistently carry. If that doesn't work, I'm going after Hayward, then Ariza.

They could also go after Greg Monroe. He isn't an athletic PF they probably need, but he is young and talented and has enough size to at least masquerade as a C at times.
