2014 NBA Playoffs: Conference Finals

Jazz didn't know D-Will wouldn't re-sign.

The jazz wanted to avoid a similar circus seen in Cleveland and Denver. And yes, all indications pointed to Deron leaving. So much that they traded Deron.

And the quote posted in my previous post sort of refutes your assertion that the Jazz didn't know he wouldn't resign.

Or in your world is Greg Miller not part of then jazz?

If you have questions whether the Jazz thought he was going to leave, perhaps you should read this article from the tribune:

You're welcome, have a nice day!

I don't want to hear any complaints about the refs from OKC fans.

Westbrook carries the ball at least 3 times per game and never gets called.

Then the goal tend.

....3 times a game? How about 3 times a possession!!! Then on drives to the basket, it was Dwayne Wade all over again......blow on him and he get's two foul shots! You can't tell me he gets fouled EVERY TIME he drives to the basket?!! Heck, he's moving so fast it's impossible to foul him, even if they tried!!! I'm just concerned that the ref's are going to do the same thing with Wade and Lebron in this series! And there's NO WAY that little "turtle head" ref should be allowed to do any of these games in the finals! He's already been noted and cited about how he feels about Duncan!

And the goal tend? How can all 3 of those guys miss that call!???

...was that the reincarnation of Dick Brevetta out there? How could all 3 of those guys miss that goal tending call??? If the Spurs hadn't won this thing in overtime, it would have been criminal! Of course, the Spurs made it tougher than it had to be....blowing more bunny shots in the 4th quarter than all season long! The Spurs are deep, long, athletic and smart. The Heat are toast!
That's not what Fabfail thinks though. And he knows his **** he says.

deep? sure. spurs have many good contributing players.
athletic? spurs are not considered a great athletic team. i'll give them a 'good' grade simply because manu still got it, and kawhi is a very good athlete.
long? yes. but not longer than celtics.

if you just talk about the size, celtics were clearly a bigger team. duncan is long, but in reality he is closer to 6ft 10 than 6ft 11. splitter was measured at 6ft 10 1/4.

duncan with grandpa bill russell. russell was listed at 6ft 9 in his playing days

many call tim duncan a '7fter'. lol

but 6ft 11 listed walton was actually a legit 7ft. some say he really was actually 7ft 1 barefoot. in today's nba, he could easily be listed at 7ft 2. if hibbert can be listed at 7ft 2 then so does walton. walton would tower over every spurs

both bill walton and duncan are listed at 6ft 11. but obviously you know who's taller.

basically celtics had 2 7fters. walton gave them great 20 min as a backup. and bird & mchale were 6ft 9 -6ft 10 guys with tremendous skills.

mchale was sick. top 3 greatest post player ever. so simple, yet so effective. wanna learn post moves? watch mchale.

dear julius randle, aaron gordon, vonleh, embiid.

wanna be a great post player? watch mchale every damn day. few tips

1. don't bring the ball down like idiot roy hibbert. keep your arms high.
2. watch how mchale gets into a deep post position every damn time. it will enlighten you. hey, randle, you don't have to do that stupid spin move every time. learn how to get deep without the basketball.
3. soft hands. eh, this is pretty much God given. aaron gordon, you shouldn't even bother.
4. footwork. this godly footwork doesn't happen overnight. watch how he uses defender to his advantage. notice the quick cut and a little swim move without fouling.

it's refreshing to revisit kevin mchale's greatness. nobody other than Hakeem touches mchale in the post. not duncan, not karl, not charles. nobody.

"peak bird, peak mchale, and still in prime parish. spurs will have zero answer for the big 3."

...would have been a great series! AA and "brains" vs. AA and "brains!" Now both teams would have crushed all those 76er teams with Dr. J. and Daryl Dawkins and George McGinnis! Only reason Dr. J. has 1 ring is riding on the coattails of Moses Malone one year! Don't know what series is better to watch: Contrasting style of "hip hop" vs "basketball brains" or "basketball brains" vs. basketball brains?" There is one type of match up that is UNWATCHABLE....."hip hop" vs. "hip hop!" Generally results in mega turnovers, few assists and p-poor shooting percentages!

....have to agree to disagree....and I've got the stats to back me up! Karl Malone's post game was second to none.....especially with Stockton as his point guard! Malone had twice as many 3 point plays as McHale....because when Malone got the ball down low in the post he NEVER DRIBBLED...but went straight up with it! McHale did too, but would put the ball on the floor sometimes, resulting in more turnovers than Malone! Oh, by the way, keep in mind that Malone has at least 5,000 more points than McHale, probably more!
