2016 NBA Free Agency Talk

ok, lets not be delusional. Had GSW had Durant instead of Barnes, this season finals would be a sweep. Heck if Keer would not play Ezeli in game 7 GSW would have won.

Yeah, you're right. Durant is going to improve a 73 win team so much so that they go from losing 4 games in the Finals to losing none. Because, ya know, he's known to be such a clutch player and all.

That was so stupid, I liked KD but he is going to ruin his legacy. Especially if they don't win next year.

I pretty much NEVER agree with Steven A, but he is dead on with his take on this. I used to like Durrant...pfft...weaksauce, totally weaksauce..no resepct for the guy now. Not that it matters in any way at all, but Ill root against him always now.
IF you havent heard the whole take, dont argue stupid crap please. Blah blah, same as Lebron...that stupid crap...no.
Durrant is the best player I have ever seen who is also the worst leader and weakest mentally. I get that he needs someone to lead for him, I get that.,...I guess...Dont like either OKC or GSW, and I personally see this hurting both down the road, so thats good at least..

Even when he wins a title next year, surely it's gonna be hollow ??? He won't get anywhere near the same amount of respect as if he won it on his own team. Lame, really lose respect for a guy who runs to something much easier.

Did GSW lose because Barnes was not clutch or because he could not hit anything in all 4 quarters? You honestly think having Durant shooting all those wide open corner threes instead of Barnes bricking them would made no difference? How about Curry/Durant pick and roll? How they would have defended that?
You sound like GSW needed some clutch shooting to win this series lol. With Durant none of the games would have been even close after 3 quarters.

Did Love lose a lot or respect by going to Cleveland and winning it?

I dont think it was loves choice. IIRC he was traded to cleveland for a package including andrew wiggins.

And Love wasn't up 3-1 on GS then bitch out on his team instead of coming back and beating GS.

I don't blame Durant for what he did, but that doesn't not make him a bitch. Durant is weak.

Whatever LeBron did, Durant is much, much worse.

Durant will win a couple titles, everyone will forget about what he did to OKC (which in some way makes me happy because OKC may be the most despicable, horrible professional city out there and they don't deserve Durant and Westbrook), and he will be loved.

But, when he lays his head down at night, he will always know that he was a bitch. That he punked out and left his team high and dry. That he could have taken down the greatest regular season team in the history of the NBA (GS) then followed that up by beating maybe the greatest player ever (LeBron) and win a title in a small market, but instead he gave up his mantle as batman to become robin.

Durant officially took himself out of the top 10 players in NBA history with his move. Maybe out of the top 20 players ever with that move.

He will get titles, but his legacy won't ever be as glorious...unless Steph gets hurt and Durant leads GS to a title.
