You really have high expectations for 2nd round picks in the late 30-40s.

Not being aggressive is quite different from being "the most conservative GM in all sports"

Especially after we just traded for Conley.

We could have. That is a different discussion. People were freaking out wanting the FO to do it right now, when the last few trades wayyyyyyy overpaid for those 2nd round picks.

Right, I think this is the point. And so easy to say with hindsight. Warriors smartly bought in yesterday. Jazz waited to see what was available. But when you know what's available the prices goes up.

1.8 or whatever the Warriors paid was a steal.

But like I said. Hindsight. Glad it's not my job to make these calls.

Yes, but today the cost was through the roof. It was not good to buy a pick early in the second. Teams way over paid. It looks like we waited until the value made more sense and the players we ranked just as high are still there.
