Seems like he’s on the outs and would be worth the flier. He has a legal “he said/she said” issue that is still yet to be resolved, but if they do their due diligence and decide to make a move it could pay dividends. I thought he was pretty good as a rookie.

It's funny that Niang is essentially Steve Novak, who Quin didn't like.

Niang has more fundamentals, but both players have a floor effect where the biggest thing shining through is their three point shot. All else seems to be negated at the NBA level.

I think it’s unlikely that the jazz move Conley. Moving a vet and a guy making big money that quickly is bad form. It would make it really difficult for the Jazz to sign good players in the future because players would remember mike getting shipped off after 20 games of under performing. I think it hurts the team too much long-term to move him. And nobody wants Ed Davis so it’s unlikely we move him and get anything serviceable in return.
