Has been. Key phrase. However, hasn't been in years. This next year he isn't going to suddenly get it back. Just bring him off the bench and it more or less plugs that hole.
I don't think he's slipped all that much on defense... but I have the players to fill the hole if he struggled.

How many wins in the playoffs? They are on the rise. They might improve and lead to actually winning. But as of now I prefer guys who have. We'll see at the end of next season though. Both those guys maybe put up big stats but they both were apart of two of the most disappointing teams in the NBA last season Dallas and Minny. Neither could lead their teams to any meaningful wins last year.
I mean neither guy has lost to a team they were favored to beat. Basketball is a team sport so good players can only carry bums so far. For younger players they have performed amazingly. I get the resume isn't as good as Steph or Jamal today... but I got them other vets to supplement that.

I may not pull off the win preseason, but I am good banking on players that will look better in 5-6 months than they do now in Ant, Luka, Jaden, Chet... Green Middleton Lopez Horford White are all proven playoff performers so I think I'm pretty solid... understand if others vote for Steph/Jamal cuz they been there more doe.

I really like the top 4 for team K, but the rest of that team....I love Kyle Anderson but it's trash. If the rest of the team wasn't so crummy I think this would be a more interesting contest. Team L is kinda interesting, but I wish there was another movement shooter on that team. I like all three of the backup bigs as individual (especially Chet), but probably only necessary to have one of them. A good movement shooter would open up the game a ton. Without it, I think Green mucks up the offense quite a bit. I suppose Ant is a big swing player here. To this point I honestly think he's been a little overrated. He has a really lovable, infectious personality (when he's not being a bigot) which is part of the reason why he's so loved, but he has yet to have a single season with above average league efficiency. Kinda reminds me of Don at the same point in their careers. Great player, not quite there yet, but could be there at any moment. I don't think he has been as good as people rate him, but he absolutely has the potential to become that player and beyond. He was great in the playoffs.

Side note: This thread is comedy.

You know we can look this stuff up right. He is a mixed bag in iso... some years its high percentile some its mid... in the playoffs its the same. One thing is its always low volume for a guy that scores as much as he does. Against the Rockets... a great switching team at the time... he didn't perform as well because with the two man actions he is other worldly but in iso he isn't (at least against a good switching team).

Surprised you are pushing back on this lol... it was a thing... its part of why they went iso KD end of games in the playoffs when they had him.
I looked it up, it's high ever year

It is not "extremely high percentile every year" as you guaranteed. Its not his best skill... you want him to be at his best. You want the other players to complement him and help him be his best... one of those things is having a great passing big... Team K does not have that.

Green might mess up the offense but I just wanted a ball mover and versatile defender there. The bigs are a bit redundant but I got Horford in the next to last round and wanted him as a proven guy since many won't have a high opinion of Chet yet.

Not too worried about having a movement shooter to add in I have great catch and shoot 3P shooters and the guy who creates a **** ton of three point shots. I think Ant is going to have the glow up season this year and he's already a volume scorer and while he may not be above league average efficiency... he is basically right at league average efficiency.

I like both starting lineups and I love Ls tactical options off the bench.

I feel like JJJ constant foul trouble is inevitable in this series. OG can slow Luka a bit but who is guarding Ant?

Team L weakness with that starting lineup is lack of paint presence, but matchupwise it makes sense to emphasize perimeter defense.

Team K weakness is its bench.

Hard to vote against Steph but I like Ls tactical approach to this series.

Just checked again, it's extremely high every year, but I'm sure this is where you move the goalpost and claim extremely high he has to be in the 99th percentile every season.

He's been higher than Luka or Edwards most seasons.

Don’t have to move the goal posts when you use absolutes and words like “Extremely High”. I noticed you’ve looked it up twice without posting your findings… interesting.

He does it at super low volume… if we just want to assume every awesome player is 90th percentile at everything they do want to do and can ramp up volume how and when they like then I’ll just say the same thing about Ant and Luka lol. If they wanted to be super great movement shooters off of screens and DHO they could… see it’s easy. It was a known issue he had at times… not sure what to tell ya.

Also saying someone is phenomenal while working with great passing bigs does not equate to “green made Curry” gtfoh with that. I am simply stating one of the main things that has made him unstoppable at times is not present on this roster… that lowers his ceiling a smidge here imo. If others don’t feel it does and don’t think Green has helped him at all… then they can vote accordingly… even if there is a huge amount of evidence that suggests otherwise.

I think it's fair to say that about a top 5 player in the history of the NBA who is heads and shoulders the best shooter ever with a nasty handle. If you dont, then holy **** another LOL at your attempts to diminish Steph once again.

And I think it’s fair to say that a top duo in nba history actually helped one another so…

I mean they keep Green and his BS around for some reason right… lol. It’s also not just about Dray… it’s about the fact that Ron put 3 horrible passing frontcourt players where his stars have had generational passers. Even the best NBA players are not infallible and one thing that Steph AND Murray have made their name on is playing with these types…

I’d also like to thank you… this was a run away blow out until you started chiming in with your BS. You prolly owe @Ron Mexico an apology.
