I think Detroit already knows if they're going to trade back with the Jazz. If they are, they'll pull the trigger once they see who the top 4 picks are. There might be a 0.2% chance that somehow Brandon Miller is available at #5, or something.
This Bilal saga is a bit interesting. I don't think Orlando would really take him at 6. They may just be trying to headfake the Jazz into taking him at 5 in order to push someone else down (i.e., Black). I do think Orlando had interest in Bilal at #11 though.
I think Indiana will take Walker or Hendricks, depending on which is available to them at 7. If the Jazz are targeting Bilal, then trading up to 7 with Indiana should probably do it. Indiana would need to be confident that Walker or Hendricks will then be available a couple picks later at #9. Look for this as a contingency plan.
The wildcard is Washington, who will need to pivot if Black isn't available to them at 8. Bufkin, Bilal and Ausar are possibilities.

Also someone said that Roberson was a floor or median outcome for Bilal. Wholeheartedly disagree.
AJJ is a Roberson comp for me. AJJ has almost no upside of ever being able to shoot it, much like ROberson there are major structural flaws to his form.
Bilal doesnt have that. His form is very workable.

I'll have to go back but I recall him saying the Jazz themselves were low on Cam because he had a bad workout here. Maybe he's getting his wires crossed or I am.
I have my own thoughts about how this is playing out but I'd rather not jinx it.

a few days ago, maybe a week ago, somebody mentioned we had 15k posts in this thread and wondered if we could get to 17k by draft time. only about 470 to go. i think we get there.
Teams in the top 8 are definitely having the....."why are we so high on the Twins but not Bilal" conversation right now. If Asuar had a bad workout with ORL, for example, they might just say **** it we'll take Bilal instead. The case for the Twins is all hype, not saying it won't be justified, but it is all hype.
I was told Cam blew people away for his Utah workout, but yeah I heard Andy say something a bit contrary to that, so no idea.
It was over/under 2,000 posts in 2 days lol. We will blow that away.

as somebody who is wary of all three, i agree 100%. the only thing i can think of in terms of why you'd like the twins more than bilal is the idea that they are better with the ball. though having said that, bilal is the much better defensive prospect.
He tells the truth, but because he does that I'm pretty sure he has a somewhat frosty relationship with the organization. I'm almost surprised he was on Locked on and doubt that would happen if Locke was actually hosting. I just get the sense that there is serious friction between homers and mouthpieces in the media and Andy because he's willing to actually be critical (and truthful) rather than varnishing everything.
Tony on ESPN700 says there are two guys the Jazz are targeting if they're able to move up from 9 (Back and Walker is my guess) and there are two specific spots they've targeted to try and move up to to get one of those guys. They also have a guy they really like that they think will be there at 9 if they're not able to move up.
And/But Roberson worked because he was playing next to a two MVPs and a floor-spacing big.
