Taking was probably the right move… but had we kept Beasley, Conley, and Vando, we’d probably be a 3-6 seed and probably winning a playoff series. The west hasn’t been this wide open in a decade or two.

Yes. Getting blown out in the first round is terrible for team chemistry and they’re fairly limited with the roster moves they can make.
But isnt the pick they owe us like 2 years away?
Yeah I saw the injuries today .. most of them were accidents nothing to do with play-in games.
I don’t think playing 1-2 more games is the cause. Ja and Giannis weren’t even play-in teams.

They made moves to be championship level. The further out from that goal that they are, the more desperate they will be. Any subsequent, knee-jerk reaction moves are likely to make them worse in the long run. An embarrassing exit in the first round will only help to cause chaos in that locker room.

Minny was really bad. They have no bench ( except Slomo) and the 2 supposed star were awful to shoot and pass the ball. Not much chance playing this way. Rudy was correct considering he platy against Jokic and Mike was quite invisible, taking only 5 shoot ( 2 from 3) when he is the most efficient shooter at 3 there. They will have to regroup fast or they gonna get out in 3 games.....

True.. best case scenario they flame out here.
KAT asks to be traded in the off-season.
They have to trade him for some picks to recoup what they lost from Gobert’s trade.
Nobody wants Gobert’s contract so he stays.
They rebuild around Ant & Gobert and are mediocre for years to come.
