A random thought about Dilly and Edey:

If this really is a 2013-quality draft, a high-end microwave scorer at any spot in the draft is a succsss, size/defense be damned. A rich-man’s Boban wouldn’t be bad either.

I think these are near Dilly‘s and Edey’s floors.

I also think Cody’s floor is a complete bust. I think a lot of the lottery prospects have similar floors.

I think he can get up. I worry about the defense with him. His backstory is unique enough I am not too worried.

He’s not quick, though. The speed of the burst is what’s most important. Grayson Allen can “get up” too, he just has to load up in a way that makes his hops worthless.

Givony straight up said that Holland should stop working out, or at least shooting in workouts because he's airballing so much. I haven't seen Givony so disgusted in two prospects Castle/Holland like this in a while lol.

Listening to the Holland section now. Duncan is fairly combative for a podcast so I think that got Givony going.

Usually Givony pod appearances I hear the host just goes with what he says and Duncan seems to be pushing his own opinion more than most.

With guys like Topic, McCain, Carrington and Geoge available in the mid-late teens, not to mention Collier, there's interesting guard talent in that part of the draft. I can see why the Jazz would want a pick in that range.

And yeah, I get it with Givony on the Holland stuff. At one point Nate says Holland has good feel and Givony went off on that and I agree. I watched Holland pull transition 3s off the dribble. That's not good feel when you are a sub 30% 3pt shooter.
