2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

His shooting stroke is great. That isn't even up for debate. Only someone as dumb as you would think that he doesn't project as an excellent shooter and yes that includes free throws.
Objective data is kind of important.

How real are Risacher's mechanics? Totally real or UNREAL?

Zach hitting a shooting slump is very on brand for this draft. I think Sarr is the only high rated guy who didn't find ways to disappoint. Shep was an early riser so he hasn't disappointed at all but all the guys that were predraft top 5 types seem to have an agreement to all piss GMs off (except Sarr).

WOW!!!

The more I watch Zach Edey the more I think everyone is just seeing 7'5 and comping him to Boban and other huge tall slow guys when in reality Edey is much more skilled, coordinated, and athletic than the dudes he is usually comped to. Combine the fact that he has enough touch from the paint and FT line to have believable spot-up jumper upside along with the fact he's played basketball for about half the amount of time as his peers, I think he's being highly underrated and would be a great fit in Utah next to Lauri and Keyonte.

I think Edey is very good, but it sounds almost like you see him as Yao Ming part 2.

You know who else started playing basketball at age 15?

Joel Embiid.

Other fun fact: Joel Embiid's first season in the NBA (playing) he was 22 years old. The same age Zach will be (Zach will be 2 months young)

I appreciate not being derivative, but this is just silly.

Do you see a lot of other similarities in Edey and Embiid?

I do think Edey is a lot more skilled than some of the guys he’s getting comped to.

I wish Holland wasn't so stiff and upright. I think he moves fairly well, but he's always standing straight up lol.

Nobody has the smoothness of Bilal Hardaway Pippen in this year's draft.

Does he even have puppy feet

Risacher is not in your top 30?
