I probably would’ve given up value early on to get the team in a better place to tank for the 14% shot at Wembanyama, but I’m not unhappy with the results. I like Hendricks and hope he can unlock his potential. Getting a true franchise player immediately out of either of those trades is crazy when you think about it. Hopefully, Lauri has further depths that he can unlock. I just wish the Jazz wouldn’t have traded the pick to get off Favors contract.

Pure conjecture. To some degree this may be true, but KO and Conley weren’t on the Finnish team. I think he mostly just needed confidence and to be thrust to the front instead of what he’s been doing up to that point.
Tony said the #2 player on the Jazz’s board for pick 10 behind Cody Williams was Zach Edey.
So close to getting my guy. I wonder if the Jazz tried to give up Kessler for 9.
