Lol what are they doing? Have fun wasting your last window.
Fair, but also do they really have a chance at another championship? I don't think any trade can get them back. Might as well just hold on, sell tickets, have a few glory moments, and be somewhat competitive but not give up assets.

Yeah, that’s fine. Might as well trade Curry and kick off the rebuild right, though. This is not just a point about turning the page and building the next contender for the Warriors, it’s about doing right by Curry.

Curry sells tickets and it's a great story for him and the franchise for him to retire with them. But sacrificing your future to get from 7th seed to 5th seed seems meaningless for both sides. I guess they could trade him to a contender and get some assets and start the rebuild. But to me that didn't make sense for GS or Curry.

Wondering if GSW pivots to Ingram now. Could a 3-team where the Jazz send Kessler and Collins to NOP, NOP sends Ingram to GSW, and GSW sends dead salary and picks to Utah make sense?
No reason to include Kessler if the Jazz aren’t getting the top asset coming back.

You don't trade Curry til he ask out. Warriors have played it right. A Lauri trade would have been too much for them.
Yeah, they tried to get him for cheap or reasonable price. They shouldn't push past that.

I hope Curry doesn't ask out and they don't trade him. It's better for both parties. Steph gets some more highlights and goes down as the greatest Warriors player of all time and loved. GS sells more tickets and makes more money.
