I don't know, we might be outta the tank race after this JJJ trade, with a addition of another solid move soon by Thursday. Who knows, maybe the nba or the nba gods might reward us by moving up into top 4 from 13-14 draft spot when the season is over.

With the Bucks win tonight we are 3 wins up on the Bucks/Grizzlies/Mavs and 5-6 losses up on them.
We'll need to be smart with resting players, but 6th is still the most likely outcome imo. Just need to be shameless each time we play the Pelicans
That's not me saying they will finish last, just that those are the three teams doing the most tanking type moves btw
You overreacting cuz the Jazz narrowly defeated a team resting all their starters?

If every win comes with a qualifier, yes. Qualifiers, unfortunately, don’t show up in the W/L column, so the accumulation of them may very well assuage the anxiety without affecting any desired outcome.
Appealing to outliers always obscures the reality. This happens throughout a season and it especially happens in a playoff series that a team eventually loses. “Lol the opponents shot 22/31 from three when they normally shoot 34%. That won’t happen again.” Then the next game it’s “well yeah, our guy fouled out and the other team had a flukey +12 advantage on offensive boards.” Then the next game you get eliminated because of another anomaly. Anomalies are baked in to any sample of the micro. The macro is an emergent property and when one talks about the macro, there’s always a, “well hold on just a minute, check out this thing right here in the micro.”
The biggest problem threatening the Jazz tanking is not getting JJJ: that could be managed through sitting him or Lauri. The problem is that the Jazz gave away the tank commanders and received in exchange several good role players. You cannot sit all all of them out, some of the incoming players need to be traded, like, right now.
