2026 NBA Trade Discussion Thread

saw some reports on Atlanta not sold on Okongwu. Maybe the Walker Kessler resolution becomes us trading Walker to Atlanta in a sign and trade this summer and taking back Okongwu. Is that the type of big Hardy wants? At least part time maybe.

I like OO alot. He's a really good kid too my son played against him in high school. He's a little undersized to be your full time center he would be an easy fit in any big man rotation. I mean if they aren't willing to fully commit to Kessler and give him his money they can do way worse than acquiring OO who is signed to a really cheap deal for two more seasons.

I could also see him continuing to improve a bit and being good in a tandem with another big in a rotation. Would want to target another center with legit size to pair him with.

Tatum was considered a top 8-10 player in the league before his injury. Also, Tatum's injury was a ruptured achilles, rather than an ACL.
To me he's more of a top 15 guy, in the same tier as Donovan. He's just blessed with a perfect roster. Put Donovan in his place Celtics still would've won that championship, except I don't see him losing that FMVP to Jaylen. And ruptured achilles is even worse than an ACL. So nah, Ainge wouldn't trade Lauri for him.
