If it were up to me the only legal firearm would be a 9mm handgun with a 12 round capacity, and even then you would have to go through a thorough background check and mental heath evaluation and go to classes on how to shoot in order to get a license. I mean, if people need to protect themselves or their home, all they need is a handgun.
As for hunting rifles, just start renting them out and having ranges to get familiar with it before you go hunt. ****, I've shot with my uncles gun and it didn't take that long to get used to. Also, why in the hell did a FIVE year old need a hunting rifle?? I don't know where he lives or what the regulations are but I'm pretty sure a toddler isn't allowed to hunt anywhere.
Oh, and anyone spewing **** about the second amendment has a thumb up their *** and are completely ignorant to what the 2nd amendment actually means.
