I am not gonna translate everything Dogus Balbay says but i will shortly write about things he have said about Enes

The speaker asks, how was the camp, you are the youngest of the team, were you treated like a rookie?
Enes: First of all, the friendship was good, this was the first National Team gathering/camp i attended, i liked it a lot, Hedo and Kerem Tunceri helped me out a lot, this showed me National Team is a special place where there is a good friendship environment, and i believe the veterans will help me out more in future, im happy to be with a talented group of players because they help me both in and off the court,
Sp: You had a talk with Hedo on the day you attended the camp, can you talk about it little bit?
Enes : It was my first training with National Team, Hedo told me, 'dont get nervous, just play your game, i know you are a good player and you will be essential here, we are all like brothers here and you are one of them, just go and play your game.'
So this really gave me confidence and made me play better.

Sp: Enes, when you went to US, you were gathering info from Dogus Balbay (the other guy) , at the time you stayed in US what did you hear from the press about Dogus, because he was praised a lot with his performance in last year(best defender of his conference), what did you hear about him as an insider, can you tell shortly?
Enes: Before i went there i talked to Dogus and he gave me useful info. He told, basketball and education in US is at a very high level, he encouraged me to go there. And he was right about the things he told me.
In US , they talk good about Dogus, they praise his defense, even when i talked to Coach Calipari one on one,(Enes must mention his coach cal in every interview otherwise he would feel really bad i guess) he told me he is a very good defender and athletic player. So i was honored to be friend of such a praised player.
Then speaker asks Dogus about Enes, that he was picked third and else... what are his opinions
Dogus: Everyone who knew im from Turkey asked me about Enes. He made a good fame in short time, his performance was sensational , everyone started to talk about Enes. Everyone asked me about him. Especially when i participated in nba workout previews, every question they asked me was about Enes. Since i knew Enes very closely, i was telling good things about him. Even my coaches were asking me, why didnt you bring Enes to Texas, and i was telling in a funny manner, hey its not my duty to recruit players but yours. It was a disappointment he couldn't play all year in Ncaa but its a success that he made name without even playing.

Sp: Enes, lets talk about the time you stayed in US, you first went to Prep school, then you went to Kentucky and became ineligible, but now you left everything behind, you had difficult days, but tell me what have you done about basketball in the last 2 yrs, because when we last saw you in Turkey, you were 16 and at euroleague level player, and your potential excited everyone, so what have you done there, can you tell us a bit?
Enes: In Stoneridge, my coach told me you are a Center but you have forward skills too, so i discovered my Forward skills there. Coach played me at 3-4 , there i played with smaller guys but i didnt try to score using my phsyical dominance, i tried to play like a Forward, i tried to dribble though i made lots of turnovers, ..
Sp: you made more than 50 pts in most of the games,
Enes: (smiling) Yeah,, i was trying..
Also in stone ridge i learned the language which was very important for me. It was very important in order to communicate with coaches, people and teammates, then i went to Kentucky and it was unlucky that i was ineligible. There coach calipari told me (I heard this story 1 million times but i will write it again) if you want you can leave, but if you stay you will be a part of family. Then i told him, i cant play for your team but i wanna help your team so i stayed, i became assistant coach, my duty was to help the other bigs on the team get better, especially i was like a private coach for Harrellson. I was working with him most of the time together. It helped me too. I dont think i lost a lot in terms of basketball because even if i played for Kentucky, i could have played only around 20-25 games because we won the first 15 -20 games by 30 pts margin.
Sp : So what about UTAH?
Enes: After draft i went to Utah. First of all its a very nice and calm place. As well the people, they aren't crazy, they are calm. It is a very clean city. I really liked there because i can focus on my basketball 100 percent, and as i said before the draft, it doesnt matter which team i go, i just wanna play basketball

Sp: Your manager declared there are offers for you from China, what are you planning to do until lockout is over.
Enes: I am really disappointed because of the lockout because i just told myself, i will play basketball at last, but now unlucky this happened. But there is nothing i can do, im just waiting right now, there are some offers but right now only thing i focus is National Team, but if lockout continues, i am open for the offers after the euro basket.
Sp: So lets talk about Euro basket a little bit. There is a comment you made in nba.com, everyone talks about it, i got skills like Gasols, toughness like Howard, shooting like Nowitzki. We knew you rather modest, but you made such strong comments, what do you think about this?
Enes: First of all, i didnt tell it that way. They asked me , which is your favorite player in nba, i dont have a favorite player but i like Gasol's post moves, Howards toughness, Nowitzkis shooting. I didnt say, i play like them, i just told i like to watch them but somehow they modified my words.
Sp: So what do you think about the possibility to play against Gasol in euro basket?
Enes: He is really a very good player. Made his mark in nba. I am really excited to play against such good players. But for me, it doesnt matter whomever i play against, i will just play my game. Because they dont have anything extra, they have 2 legs 2 arms as i do. I will just show up in the court and do my best.
Sp: Dogus, what you think about the team, there are around 17 18 players but 12 is the limit for euro basket.
Dogus: It doesnt matter which 12 guys will play in this team, everyone will do their best. We will play with our hearts for national team. We have lots of experienced players, we improved a lot in basket in the last years. We will play against Spain, lithuania .. but it doesnt matter for us, we are a very good team.
